New on classic: mage or hunter?

this is my boeuff this is my hunter. Pet just dont scale they really dont get that good until tbc. Like i mage get really good spell rank damge just with no spell power gear u have ur food free portal its just crazy

Free food is just a killer for me. Lvling my hunter every day looking for a mage to sell me food because at the biggining of the phase 1 no one ad good food was very expensive

why not bro? having a pet to tank everything for u, isnt that superb? only thing i didn’t (couldn’t) enjoy it is because either my pet dies, or i dry up having to regen 24/7 (slightly better than mage, which shouldnt be the case lol)

yea have to agree food is killer to buy constantly… also arrows lol

what i mean is that pet get much stronger in tbc

ok so classic wont get tbc thats why you meant pets will never be much stronger in classic? but at current state pets are doing well, no?

by the way, someone above actually mentioned if i regen frequent on hunter, then something must be very wrong… so i assume playing hunter the right way should have very minimal regen… so how come food was an issue for you bro?

yea i guess you dont feel its as much when your low lv but when u get max lv and you are with people that are high lv gear and your pet miss 50 % of the time on boss. You really feel like pet are trash.

I 2 shotted a bm hunter pet from a hunter full tier 2 today on my druid . Like i dont know compare to lock pet they really dont get that much more powerfull

 oh wells… i have also read people said as they dive into end game content, hunters began falling out… but i guess those could be very high level end game…

anyway, question… is it best for me to level from doing quest or are there any specific level-based places i should be grinding? (i asked because im not sure if its normal to get only 3 levels after questing for 10+ hours) :joy:

i wish my hunter was a mage just saying

haha that was actually a serious question about whether should i level from doing quest or are there any specific level-based places i should be grinding from killing mobs? (i asked because im not sure if its normal to get only 3 levels after questing for 10+ hours) just trying not to do the wrong thing

are u lw ? if not questing and jump in dungeon every opportunity you have. At lv 52 trying get in every brd you can since some of stuff there is prebiss so you will have to go back there max lv

yea im low, only level 15  guess questing is my only way for now…

i hop back into hunter earlier and the gameplay was quite fun, well mages are fun too… but if you are right about pets being less useful at later content, then probably i’ll stick to mage
