Well, my thoughts are that they are useless stats unless we are looking at individual server populations. Even then, they don’t mean anything beyond how many people have ground a character to max level and can run those endgame instances.
just like a fake news poll, i was never asked
You can look at individual server populations on the site I linked, but it’s crowdsourced data so individuals need to run the addon and contribute to get a more complete picture.
Data is only cool if it’s accurate.
Highly unlikely there’s any accurate info on this since they put a limit on the /who functionality.
Yeah that one anecdotal experience proves that it can’t be right.
Totally
I counted the number of people on my server on my toes and it turns out there’s only 4 of them
lol two of the biggest US servers Herod, and Faerlina have no data at all. And even so the data shows that only 8% of the player base is 60…
If this is true, I really need to hit 60 as soon as possible.
Well I am still a level 26 been playing from launch.
I play this toon when ever I want.
The question is am I missing anything that the level 60 players can not do yet?
Better yet should I be screaming I want a level boost to 60. It is not fair that I can not play as much as other players.
But I can not do a boost I might miss some thing in level 28, 35, 41 and in level 57.
So now we have lots more people doing what?
If this is to get Blizzard to release content good luck.
By the time the guy who read this and forward it to the next guy who than will forward it to the next guy forwards it the first guy and tells him it is time to go home, we will discuss this in the next meeting on the third Friday’s meeting.
I am happy for those new 60’s.
This is so funny that I had mortally wounded myself…
Btw, isn’t there also an axe in the game that has a chance to proc a decapitation on the opponent…
I was going to look up more linguistic difference but I decided I could care less…
If by some miracle someone at blizz sees this they’re not going to go to the website to check the population. They already have completely accurate data on everything that happens in the game. They already know.
So 92% are not level 60, 8% are.
According to the data the OP provided.
However, that data relies on players running the addon and then taking the time to upload it to that site, which as pointed out earlier is missing 2 of the most populated US realms. So It is a fair assumption that their data is not statistically accurate one way or the other.
True but the updated version of the addon has only been available for 2 days. Needs more people running and parsing their data! For instance on my server I seem to be the only person that has added data yet for the Horde and my census was taken mostly in the morning. The more people using it consistently the more accurate it will be.
there are still far more between 30 and 50 than at 60 on Remulos. A quick /who in each zone shows you that.
One person’s /who at one point in time isn’t gonna tell you much unfortunately. A lot of 60s are only raid-logging at this point. Need many more sample points, but no matter what from the data we have the number of 60s far outweighs the numbers of any other level range on most servers. On Fairbanks there are 10x more recorded 60s than any other level.
Fake news because I’m not lvl 60 and I represent the majority.
Saying majority of players is actually an incorrect statement.
More like the largest percentage of players at any single level is 60. You have nearly 15% of my server at 45-55. and 14% at level 60.
It looks like 60 is the biggest bracket, but certainly not the majority of players.
“” This project is highly dependant on community participation, because the statistics are only as good as of how many people have the CensusPlusClassic addon installed and submit their collected data to the website""
Unless everyone installs it and uses it and uploads,it will never be accurate.
