My first WB I’m pretty sure will house my DK, hunter, evoker, & monk.
I am a Hunter from the Beginning of Vanilla. I have 5 Hunters. I guess I just love taming those Pets. I’m not very good in Pet Battles for the companion pets, But I do like collecting them anyways. Beastmaster is my choice because of the rare pets My Hunter can tame. And since I am so confused about the TWW thing and what I need. I will have to coast along after that. So our Alts in Retail all count right? I have 31 alts all together. Horde & Alliance. I saw people posting about there 2nd and 3rd or 4th alts assignments, But do I have to assign a 2nd or 3rd alt respectively for TWW? Or do they just follow behind the Main I will be playing?
I had a great time levelling up a Shadow Priest in the ReMix. But because the Retail gameplay is completely different, I won’t choose that as my Main in TWW. Good Luck! They are pretty awesome.
Guardian Druid…though I’m a bit taken aback by how large a bite the tuners are planning to take out of we tank-types.
Guardian Druid is scheduled to be slapped down hard.
I guess Blizz figures we’ve been bad. ![]()
So, I don’t know.
yep, Every alt of both factions, from every server, is in your Warband automatically. You can pick 4 to be your favorites, so they’ll show on your home screen together, but that has no impact on gameplay. Your main character is just whoever you feel like it should be that day. I think all the quests and rep unlock for all characters together, [so you won’t have to repeat a quest on a different character if you don’t want to ← I’m less sure about how that part works.]
Same as since Shadowlands Season 3 - Demon Hunter. Even with the nerfbat, I’ll still main 2 DH’s and get KSH and portals. I don’t have any desire to do more than that.
I am torn between Warlock, Priest, and Shaman. All 3 classes I enjoy and I like the hero specs. Priest and Shaman are classes I have never mained. Warlock I have before.
In Vanilla I only made it to lvl 34, on a Rogue as I was a kid, and spent the few hours I could play in WSG or RPing and hanging out. So no real main I guess.
Did not play BC/Wrath.
In Cata I spent all my time leveling characters though BG’s. Deleting them then starting over, again no main.
In MoP I played Warrior, Pally, then ended things with Hunter. I don’t think I really had a main, I was just moving around between characters.
WoD was the first time I played the game “properly” and tried some end game content. I mained a Hunter and loved it that expansion. I’d Mainly play SV/MM but I’d also play melee BM in battlegrounds (no clue how I was still top of the board as melee BM lmao.).
In Legion I hardly played, main would probably be my FDK during the last patch but I mostly did BG’s and world content.
BFA was the first time I got more serious with the game (more so than with WoD), joined a proper guild and got AOTC in all raids but the first one. I started off with a Warrior so I could unlock the PvP transmog but ended up making that my alt and focused on my Outlaw Rogue for most of the expansion.
In SL I decided to main something new and continue the idea of swapping mains each expansion. I ended up going Pally as in BFA I was jealous at how helpful some of their support was, plus I wanted a class that could actually deal burst damage in PvP. I found healing fun in raid environments too.
For DF I was planning on going Pally but I ended up with Evoker. Dev was the first caster I really enjoyed outside of Legion Aff. Like in BFA and SL I just went up to 1800 real quick with pugs for the transmog but I mostly crafted till I burned myself out and quit till recently.
Now with TWW I’m having a hard time deciding. I’m currently torn between Dev, SP, and MM. FDK and Ret are also options I’m interested in.
I boosted my old SP I tried leveling a few expansions ago the other day so I could get the tier transmog before I lost all chances and I loved the feel of it.
Dev is something I also really enjoy, and has been the class I was planning on playing.
I ended up looking at videos and leveling an MM Hunter in remix last night and now I’m also thinking about that…
I think ultimately I plan on leveling 4 toons and trying them all out as much as I can before I decide for sure before S1 starts. I plan on doing Keys and getting back into raiding in TWW so I want a strong main to work on then alts after the main is more or less set up.
I want to main Mage or Warlock but I’ve always had a hard time playing and enjoying the classes in most content even though I love the spec identities.
Same as its been since WoD, this priest.
I played the Beta for a bit and tried it out. Voidweaver Spriests will be beasts!
Sorry for the essay, but this has been on my mind for quite some months now.
I’ve been strongly debating it. I love being an orc shaman conceptually because I want to be the “orciest orc” without being a warrior or hunter, but shaman in Retail isn’t really what I want it to be and I overall don’t find it as fun as other classes. Enhancement is solid but doesn’t feel very unique and elemental is either lava burst spam (which I find boring and not in the spirit of shamans, which I feel should make use of all four elements regularly) or a build that makes use of all elements, but is incredibly clunky as a rotation. The hero talents for both of those specs don’t quite grab me, either. Totemic is the closest, but I’ve heard it’s pretty janky.
If the shaman rework doesn’t speak to me, I’ll probably swap classes. I’m mainly considering mage, priest, and paladin, which is its own unique conundrum. I’ve leveled all three through Remix with different races. Then there’s demon hunter.
- Nightborne for mage. I like the combo and I was a mage main up until I swapped to Horde in Dragonflight, but I also really like maining an orc. I could make an orc mage, but I’ve become too attached to the nightborne I’ve made to replace her.
- Mag’har orc for shadow priest because I really like the idea of playing a character that’s a scholar of the Dark Star. I kinda like him, though I think I prefer green orcs over brown for their history.
- Tauren for paladin. I enjoyed it a lot more than I thought, and I’ve always loved the lore for Sunwalkers. But it still has the same conundrum as the nightborne mage.
- As for demon hunter, I enjoy how it plays and I’ve wanted playable demon hunters since I was an edgy teenager (and well into being an edgy adult). But I’m hesitant to make that commitment since I’ve given blood elves too much grief to main one (in good nature, mind, but my friends would absolutely call me out on it) and they have felt a bit adrift in the lore ever since Legion.
- I’ve also been toying with warlock, but I’d prefer it not be an orc because it goes against the spirit of what I like Warcraft orcs for. I know you can spin them as anti-heroes rather than cackling Saturday morning cartoon villains, but I don’t think it’s quite there for me.
Anyway, thanks for coming to my TED Talk.
Arcane mage. Mained one from vanilla until DF. I finally gave up and benched him but with all the positive changes I just might bring him back.
Likely will always be Death knight… since I’ve basically mained it since wrath…
If u checked on my post history i have changed who i wanted to main many times. Started out with monk, then i didnt want to tank to be my main (and with the recent changes im glad i did) then i went mage but i like being a strong solo player that doesnt have to rely on movement or slows so now i think ill main warlock.
As a troll fanatic im a big fan of all the shadowy abilities of warlock more then mage.
Regardless whos my main my warband and alts im def going to play at least 4 to some extent.
All specs Warlock,arcane/fire mage, brewmaster monk, surivial hunter
Dk might swap out for one of those chars if unholy really turns out to be easyer and less complex. Not sure on any changes unholy got.
No idea.
Guess we’ll see, eh?
I started as evoker in DF. I will do the same in TWW. The new talents seem great. Evokers are great to explore and gather and thats what i usually do at the start of expac. Also i feel the 3rd spec might eventually change to something better.
I will also lvl monk druid paly and dk at least to start with.
I bet will really enjoy my panda monk which i havent played since original MOP
My main is my WW Monk, Cathia. I love the play style, lots of healing options and fun.
Second is probably this Drach. Tazen. Again, fun to play. Difficult in some situations, but overall a lot of fun.
Don’t know if I will run a third this time, may just keep these 2 with the Monk primary and goof around with some alts. I’m not sure, will see how the game goes.
My first “main” was my shaman. Back in beta and vanilla. I have done mage and priest in recent years, but I am switching back to Shaman ![]()
Power to the forsaken. Undead Fury Warrior.
Not as bad as port pally
