Arguably, the most diverse option they have is to simply not ask or make judgements by a persons immutable characteristics, and then put their effort in adversing the job/role/position to the widest and most diverse population possible.

The part where you assume that they are only looking at genitals. They will likely be hiring women who are qualified. They’ve already had some in their company. They aren’t unicorns.
Well currently wow is only producing one patch a year so I’d say can they get any worse than they’re currently doing.

Well that’s just wildly inaccurate isn’t it. Im for hiring of good people. If that involved improving a hiring process then great. But I don’t think anyone should not get the job if they are the best person for it.

I never claimed there weren’t any and if they are qualified then great. All I said is don’t hire someone because of them because it’s not relavent. Hire whoever does the job best.
Idk why people would have an issue with hiring the best person for any given position.

Part of that is because wow themselves won’t release what happened to people they actioned. Hell even Twitter says what happens if you report an obvious racist person. This is why a lot of people won’t use the reporting tools cuz they never hear what happens back.
Then explain to me why these fields are notoriously dominated with white males and not diverse?
How can a company not be diverse if everyone is treated equally when it comes to hiring?

It is relevant because they were sued partially for how badly they treated women by promoting men less qualified than them.
Are white males the primary people going into the field because they’re the ones that have the majority of the diplomas? We’re going getting the statistic territory it’s just like why do many females hold any trade jobs because a lot of males are the ones that do to trade jobs and females have never done them. Nor are they certified to do one. What your races and what you identify as should have absolutely no bearing on the company it’s what you should be doing for the company that has a bearing.

Ok then address that. If someone was passed over for a promotion because of their gender that is not right I agree. Idc what gender people are if they make a good game hire/promote them. It’s not that complicated.

Yes, there was the specific case of the crazy woman that was on the spanish Diablo team. But that’s not the part of case they are responding to with hiring more women.
Nope, I’m talking about the recent accusations not only men acting a certain bad way but women as well I have to find it and I’m lazy as hell so it might be a while. I know it’s a Kotaku has it it just feels wrong even linking them as a source. It feels foreign to me because I never hit on women when I’m at work cuz I do not fish for the company Pier.

And I think they will correct that. They’ll have to in order to appease the courts. And their workers. I don’t think this will lead to men being fired and their only being women at the company. Or people less qualified being hired just to have women there. They’d have to want the rest of their company to sink to hire people unqualified. There are a lot of people in the industry and there are people getting into it everyday from all walks of life. They will still have a big pool to pick from.
Never heard a complaint about not enough diversity hiring shoveling concrete. Or a complaint about not enough male midwives. Even the name is discriminatory
