Absolutely. But there also needs to be content for people who aren’t interested in that. Even though most have left the game.
The result is what matters. Their hiring practices (https://aboutblaw.com/YJw) resulted in fewer women and people of color being hired, being hired for lower pay and lower responsibility than comparably qualified white males, getting fewer promotions and being passed over for promotions that went to white males who were less qualified fit into the “frat boy culture”. Read the filing.
There doesn’t need to be intent to consciously discriminate. The fact is that discrimination and harassment were endemic in the company. That’s what matters.

The problem comes when you hire based on anything other than merit. I do NOT want them hiring more pink-haired muh-pronouns clowns as devs because they will not be fixing the bugs they cause while they’re mindlessly copypastaing code from one source file to another. They will instead be on Twitter, talking about how they changed a girl into a bowl of fruit and how their voice is somehow more important than the End Users who have to look at the bowl of fruit.

Only thing I saw was mention of stuff after 9.2, so it could mean 9.2.5 or 9.3, that is probably where the 9.3 speculation is coming from.

I really don’t want to get into the hiring debate, but I will toss out that based on decades of work in corporate America (I’m old!) that nepotism is the real problem with hiring. Not the stuff you guys are talking about.

I don’t play it but everyone who played even my own brother told me exactly the same. Content and good story telling is key success. If you only focus Woke agenda, it makes the unhealthy and turn off the fan base.
