Ion stating that mentioning beyond patch 9.2 could spoil the story doesn’t mean that there’s a guaranteed patch 9.3 incoming.
I interpreted it as it can mean the end of the expansion and story in patch 9.2 which then merges into the story in preparation for the next expansion.
I honestly don’t see there being a patch 9.3. Maybe a 9.2.5 patch, but not 9.3.
