This going to cause more problems than it will solve.
Bring on the Classic Token so the gold the bots are farming cannot be cashed out as effectively.
And I may reach 60 on some of my toons before phase 5 drops, or maybe not. I did all of the raids/dungeons in Vanilla so I’m in no hurry, just enjoying the old world.
I disagree, I do think it is a far fetched idea that this will affect more than a tiny percentage of players (that aren’t bots). There is still time before phase 5. If you have 3 or 4 teams farming mats ( not sure why that is necessary) you should still have an abundance of mats for phase 5.
Here you go blizzard, I think I stole your name. You should take it back because this change is going to be an Utterfailure for feral druids everywhere.

Seriusly…at this point im done. i should not have paid for 6 months because blizz can only f*** everything. They dont even want to fix the real problem BOTS!!!. just ban then ffs. I was happy with the black lotus change but do you want to know something it did nothing. bots still farming them 24/7. now this…i have only 1 thing to say for you blizz THAT HOW YOU LOSE YOUR COSTUMER. Not asking your playerbase opinions and just implementing retarded “FIX”

Why even include raids in this at all?
This is really dumb and now i dont know if i want to continue playing classic. Can i get a refund? why would you punish people for grinding instances? it’s not going to stop bots.
What were legitimate players abusing exactly? Care to explain to address this change you are defending?

This is a ridiculous change and I’ve been open minded to a lot of the more r ecent changes that have occurred. And the thing is, this wouldn’t even affect me in all likelihood. If people want to be able to farm money in dungeons or run carry groups all day, that’s there business. The fact that the lock-out is for ALL characters on a realm is sort of absurd, and can bring up a lot of issues in itself. This needs to be reverted. Immediately. You’re creating a solution for a different problem than the one people are actually complaining about(aka botting). But you won’t do anything about botting as long as they’re activating multiple accounts at a time and paying multiple monthly subscription fees. The shareholders likely wouldn’t be too happy about that.

Stop making changes to things that are effects of the problem.
Start banning bots. Stop collecting their money and counting their sub revenue and start policing your game.

You guys are going to limit the dungeon caps per day, but not apply this to the BOTS non-stop grinding battlegrounds for Rank 14 (which btw rewards the best weapons in the entire game?)…
Can you stop destroying your casual/hardcore playerbase with stupid decisions designed around Activision-Blizzard trying to save money by only paying ~10 Game Masters to support the tickets of 50+ Classic WoW realms. Because I think this is a management problem, and not a PLAYER PROBLEM. BLIZZARD???
This has to be the most amazingly lazy solution they could have come up with and will affect legitimate players.
I’ve considered quitting the game over the years due to really poorly thought out decisions at Blizz but this is almost a bridge too far. There is nothing to do in classic at end game once you’ve run MC and BWL once per week other than grind/farm.
Now I’m basically being told by the world of grindcraft that I can’t grind, I can’t power level boost my guildies in sfk/sm/mara/zg and I can’t farm DME for herbs beyond what they feel is some arbitrary amount.
How about addressing the fly hackers and the botters? You guys are absolutely horrible, I’m betting you can’t even see this post thru the stacks of cash on your boardroom table.

Jump runs… guildie boosting… prebis farming(SGC/HoJ specially, pummelers farming) these are normal player activities…

This does nothing to stop botters… Gold farmers who use these bots have thousands of accounts. They also probably have the capp on each realm they will either switch to a different realm and continue their botting or hop accounts this is effecting your player base more than it is helping. Dont do this.

Can we please get to the root of the problem instead of using passive aggressive methods of pushing away Botting? Youve been trying to bypass banning Bots by the masses, while your players are suffering because you cant attck the problem head on. All of these classic private servers have a better and more reliable form of dealing with these bots. Its sad to see that a multi-billion dollar company cant deal with a few hackers because they dont want to solve a solution the right way…

Still wouldn’t agree with you and still believe Blizzard has, and looked, at the stats on the impact before making the decision. Even when I was actively raiding I don’t think I every knew anyone that even approached the proposed limit.
