“Imagine instead of actually fixing the problem and banning the bots/fly hackers you instead ruin the experience for every other player by limiting the amount we can farm and level our friends and own characters”
only farm 5 hours on a raid day to avoid instance lock out
I mean to be honest it will at least cost botter’s some time, which does cost them money. 30 instances in a 24 hour period is plenty for me. Maybe not for everyone, but I don’t run 30 instances a day.
oh boy, i cant WAIT for one of our raiders to get locked out on raid day because they’ve been getting boosts on an alt.
Will just be the cherry on top of this steaming hot dumpster fire. Bonus points if its a tank or healer!
Hey, Properly monitor potential botters but leave the rest of us alone. Go make changes to retail, we don’t want this.
literally. ZERO CLUE HOW TO FIX THIS GAME.
Keep your time gating out of my classic.
This is just trash. Basically turning the game into one of those afk mobile phone games. Just log in for a short while and go play something else.
What people wanted was proof this is happening. And some action to speed up the process. Because this bot in Azshara has been here for six weeks.
I could not care less if they are stolen accounts or not.
They will just go out into the open world to node camp there while on cooldown, increase boost prices, and spin up new bot accounts. This will lead to more bots, not less.
Botters already have multiple accounts …this will ONLY effect the average players.
This does not affect bots, they change realms and farm gold for another server’s economy. Literally a hotfix to make more money off bot subs, oh wait they don’t even pay for the subs its all farmed on retail.
That would be cherry picking your guild members as lazy to not keep track of raid day and their personal boosts.
If anything, this is going to promote botting and forcing the regular players to feel the need to buy gold.
“No, you aren’t allowed to play the game you pay a subscription for YOUR way, play it MY way, YOUR way is wrong.”
I don’t suppose you’ll be reducing the cost of my subscription accordingly though right? I mean I’d do stuff out in the open world, but now that everyone will be locked out of farming in dungeons, farming outside will be 10 times worse than it already is.
Can’t wait to go to raid and then 4 or 5 people are locked out until the next day every time.
Imagine if you work all week then like to farm dungeons for gold on the weekend and now you can only do it for half as long as usual. How do you expect people to pay for their raid consumables which will now be going up in price when they can’t farm gold… let me guess… buy it from gold sellers?
You guys really need to think a lot harder about the consequences of your changes, because this is pretty stupid.
i dont play retail anymore since classic has came out and i only play classic, now i cant even do the stuff i want to do in classic. considering unsubbing. trash company.
I quit in mop because all the progression I could make on my character was time gated by daily quest limits.
I would rush home on a week night after work and feel pressured to log in and get my daily’s done in the limited time I had, if I wasn’t able too I felt like my character was falling behind.
Then on a Saturday, I would log in and have a big block of free time I wanted to dedicate to playing wow, I would do my daily’s and then still have a few hours free but no real way to progress my character because of the limit.
If I get to the point on a day I have a lot of free time to play wow, and I can’t do what I want to do because of this stupid “fix” you have done to avoid hiring staff I am quitting.
You’re trying real hard to make excuses for this. Spoilers: its not working.
Majority? I’m willing to bet that players that exceed the 30 unique instances are a very small minority. Plus I’m sure Blizzard looked at their stats on how many “legit” players this would effect prior to making the change.
