I heard the exact opposite.
Why should I take a break? I wanna play my game and my weekends are free? Who are you or blizzard to tell ME when IM PAYING FOR A SERVICE that I cant play. ARE WE PLAYING MOBILE GAMES NOW?
I know you want to be flip but people have explained how the cap actually works. They played over two sessions and hit the cap. They did take a break.
Oh?! There are so many threads on here about this issue now, I don’t know if I could find the one I was thinking of, so I also wouldn’t take it as fact.
Will have to see if some multiboxers can confirm.
Here’s a tip, get your own kids if you want to control how other people spend their leisure time.
He should move to china, he would fit in
Congratulations Activision. You have managed to cease my enjoyment of playing the game with your changes, and instead, have aroused my anger so much so, that I have no recourse but to post on your stupid forums with the crybabies… Dear Kaivax, please tell the detestable people you work for, to take their 4 stupid bag slots, and complete joke daily of instance locking, shove it up their ------ Tell them to go read Blizzards April fool’s patch notes from 2006
So I should just tell my guild, “Sorry, we can’t do Huhu, Blizzard forced us to take a break and we didn’t get the NR needed for this fight.”
The discussion I saw discussed how easy it is to open multiple bnet accounts and multibox that way. But if you have an alt on a separate wow account on the same bnet, then the lockout applies to both. I saw another player who has toons on two accounts in the same bnet claim the same.
Its per account, they are seperate and it does not fix botting or pathing.
I have 2, but one is currently inactive, so I am unable to test or confirm myself.
Messing with bots is a good way to guage whether in fact they are bots. But, it would still require human (GM) intervention. Bots can be generally broken into 2 types Pixel Reading or Memory Reading. Either of these methods would easily be able to implement a check for such a buff/debuff and respond accordingly.
The entire point is is it does not help with pathing, which can be fixed by changing the way the mobs pathfind. And it does not fix botting. So who does it effect? Hardcore players that pay 14.99 a month for this game. YOU SHOULD NOT LET A COMPANY tell you WHAT U CAN DO ON A GAME YOU PAY FOR. If you think this is a good idea PLEASE MOVE TO CHINA.

Hear, hear! And yet this is not what Blizzard did.
I literally hit the 30 instance cap on the first day. I have done over 1700+ runs of strictly only Princess runs to farm the Blade of Eternal Darkness on my mage. Now I am hindered to only doing 30 runs a day. At this rate, I will never get the blade… Fix the real problem and ban the bots and stop being greedy about the subscription money
With the newer strat you just make the second ledge, or any part where the mobs are immune to dmg they reset, this means you have to use the old strat, at least it doesn’t abuse pathing to much as resets where always a thing in retail.
goes counter to how dungeons work, but the bridge start you just make the bridge tope (that you jump on to change the pathing) no longer work.
The rest is just reports or occasionally looking into instances with just mages and low level players to see if someone is fly hacking, or just make a height limit and anyone above it be able to be hit (added bonus).
Boosting was labeled as power leveling back in the day, had a few personally so that’s pretty stupid tbh.
The easier solution is just fix the pathing, Mara is a lot harder as you can literally just jump down, blink blizzard, rinse and repeat. Also with the CoC strat and gear, boosting in SM is still possible with AQ/Naxx gear.
There is almost no for sure way to prevent boosting besides reduce exp gained almost to nothing if there is a 60 in the group, or if a 60 hits a mob. This just pushes people to run dungeons with lower level players simply for the blue gear drops.
That’s what an anti-cheat program is meant to do, it helps reduce the cost on paying people to actually look for potential bots, then check the coding coming from them to see if their a bot. It simply does all that when the player logs in or does an action.
I’ve been told I was a bot before because I didn’t want to talk to someone so reports doesn’t always work and uses resources to check. An Anti-cheat program (that all games have) does the action of right-click report anyways because it periodically, or from every action see’s if you are cheating.
It could easily be seen as “cheating” or as an “exploit” by Blizzard. See the EULA post I made above.
I’ve reported and kited bots into mobs to let them die from durability damage and repeat until their gear is broken and they can’t farm.
PvP servers have less of a bot issue in open world on average because I can kill opposit faction bots, which means it’s much easier to make them die to mobs, take durability damage, and repeate until they are broken and can’t kill the mob they are trying to kill by the botting program.
This is an issue over these bots running rampant on the servers, it has nothing to do with a lawful player, so stop defending the decision and crapping all over normal players that are upset that this new daily lockout is affecting them. whats wrong with you people.

Yeah, I’m not convinced. Give some evidence to think that any of the annoying things that you happen to dislike are not “intended” in WoW Classic after 15 years of existence. Anything that was there in Vanilla and could have been changed–but wasn’t–is clearly left there for a reason. This is especially true things that were not niche in Vanilla, were not niche in private servers, and are not niche in the current iteration of Classic: namely dungeon farms.
Comparisons between this and actual cheating–like mind controlling people out of battlegrounds or botting–is not done in good faith.
