i just reached my 30 reset limit… i had a full group of friends. hanging in discord when i hit the liimit… really killed our vibe… nothing else to do… pvp is a joke… i loved boosting guildies and friends… but not after 30… pathetic…
Anyone who plays the game can hit 6 hours of dungeons, or less if they also dungeon on an alt. This actually makes it harder because it’s very reasonable for players, especially those in quarantine, to hit 6 hours a day.
It’d be far more telling who was doing 24 hours a day because that’s actually something that only bots are going to manage- yet despite that Blizz couldn’t figure out that players going 24/7 are bots.
Hire the guys that run WoW CN, for some reason they don’t have a problem both banning bots and letting the community know about it.
This wasn’t just about bots, it was also about mages/hunters/warlocks solo farming dungeons 12+ hours a day controlling server economies, using npc pathing exploits, boosting levels 8s to 60 without any world experience. They’re only going to restrict these actions more. I think Blizzards warning you all now with all the slaps on the wrist and hotfixes like gorshak. I’d start listening.
Why do you think the original instance limitation of 5 per hour is there? History.
Learn it.
This is objectively worse than just doing nothing like they have been for the last 10 months. All this change does is hurt legitimate players who reach 30 instances per day. The bots will just open or steal another account and continue on their merry way.
I get that the change doesn’t affect you at all, but there’s literally no reason to argue in favour of it other than blind devotion to Blizzard and the belief that they can do no wrong.
Your, “us vs. them” mentality is the issue. I don’t gold farm, I find it tedious and I don’t see the need for the gold, but I can understand other people want to do it and there’s not really anything wrong with it. If Blizzard really wanted to break it, they could break the pathing exploits.
The one farm I do from time to time is Mara farm, as it’s really easy. Is running around a room avoiding melee exploiting?
