I never complained about tauren lol. I had no problem with them in wc3 so why would i in wow. Tauren at least look good. The nrw gnolls are lame. My opinion isnt changing. These new gnolls suck.

Playable Gnolls or we riot! I’ve been eying my spottybois since I saw them in the manual back in 2004, damn it!

The only class i think is a blatant furry is vulpera. Worgen, tauren, and gnolls look cool

Just because they have fur doesnt mean theyre furry unless you force them to be

I do think that at minimum the hogger model could use some work.

Someone on reddit did a quick paintover which I think serves as a decent indicator of what’s possible with some tweaks to the new model.

Maybe it’s just the white colour but the I agree with OP the faces are some disneyesque cartoony cute.
The first thing I thought when I saw the new models was “furry mask” and I don’t think that is the vibe a feral race should be giving off personally.

That is 1 million times better, especially the face.

I think the facial structure could stand to be a bit more beastlike too.

Yeah that looks a little weird, probably more of a side effect of “fixing” it with a 2D paintover than anything else.

Indeed. If they could make them playable, though, we could have all sorts of new options.

Also…let’s be honest, hyenas ARE cute. Look up pictures of 'em or videos on Youtube and then tell me you don’t wanna risk petting the dangerpuppies.

I dont have either of those races lol soooo. :person_shrugging: And worgen was already argued about when they changed them to look so cute. So i guess we can bring that back up and ask for more rugged and fierce looking worgen.

Even back in the Cata beta there were a significant number who were displeased that worgen weren’t as monstrous as their non-playable cousins.

I mean…why not add more face options so we can have both? WoW has always been kinda toony to some degree, and honestly those face shots don’t really do the overall model justice.

Catoony is fine but it doesnt mean it all has to be cute disney style. It sucks. Im fine with a compromise of having both options. Hogger needs to look like the reddit pic. Other can be lame i guess and those casters can stay looking how they look
