I rolled on a “FRESH” pvp server way back in 2004 Vanilla. It was crap back then and it’s gonna be crap now. Especially when you do not enjoy open world pvp. If you do enjoy it, then by all means, have at it.
I am not paying to play something I won’t enjoy. Everyone can make their own choice. Some will play, some won’t.
You know, there are existing PVE servers upon which you could roll a new toon.

You People will like the que of one server and thats that , the mini gods of blizzard have spoken, you will not have a pve realm that’s raciest, against pvpers, the people that run blizzard are looking out for your best interest, they want to model you into good little cows and models and brainwash you to their woke agenda and you will like it an serve them with your sub.

Yeah… I have a bunch of lvl70s. I wanted a completely fresh experience on a new PVE server for wrath. I wanted to enjoy the expansion from beginning to end.
Yeah, I was gonna miss my epic flying, all my gold… and worst of all starting a lvl1 toon with no bags and no bankroll. That was the experience… start from nothing and end up in Naxx, Ulduar, ICC… rags to riches… and have fun along the way with a new guild.

Why can’t you do that on an existing server?
Because it resets the economy. Everyone starts on the same footing. There are pvp servers currently that you can roll on. That is nonsensical and doesn’t accomplish anything. You want to play how you want on fresh and so do we.
If they are insistent to make 1 server then they should make it PVE. All of the world pvp’s can just be flagged PVP from LVL 1 and they can do everything they want to do with the exception of ruining someone’s fun.
Yes, that’s a good point. That’s a material difference between a fresh and stale(?) server.
If it was just a pve realm and no pvp realm would you be saying the same thing?
People were excited for fresh pve and fresh pvp, only one of those sets of people got what they were told they would get, the pve people were just cast aside.
And I say this as person who has zero interest in fresh.
I mean, good on you for trying but there’s very little that would convince me to roll a character on a PvP server. If blizzard universally announced that all classic servers would be turned into PvP servers, that would end classic for me.
If they were doing that for both classic and retail, that would end my relationship with WoW entirely.
Why judge my decision? We could, but that’s not the experience. Fresh server means new economy that grows. It would have been just like vanilla was in 2004. At least until they opened transfers… but that wasn’t a guarantee, just no transfers for “at least” 90 days.
Rolling on an established server is no comparison to a fresh server.
I’m not sure I understood the question, but I don’t PvP in WoW because I think WoW PVP is crap.
When I want to PVP I play EVE Online.

Apparently you don’t understand a lot of anything, like why people wanted fresh to begin with.
I have toons on other servers, but the whole thing that made me come back to WoW after 10 years was that Blizzard SPECIFICALLY promised fresh start realms. Realms, not realm.
I wanted to come back with a fresh start, and now that’s not possible, I just won’t be playing after my sub ends. Blizzard obviously hasn’t changed, and their crappy behavior and broken promises that factored into me quitting before are still on show. If they lie about having “realms” drop with pre-patch, then they’ve not changed, and I’m not paying them money for another string of disappointments.
