yeah, and ignoring the obvious makes you look willfully ignorant. You have an entire guild filled with people who love to raid, but none of them want to run keys? There’s an easy fix. You go run keys and as you are pugging, say hello to people and get to know them. add them to your friends list. And then every time you logon look at who is online who is not in your guild and see if they want to run keys. It’s not a complicated process. You are literally out there in a pug constantly running keys, you could very easily speak up. Say hello. Get to know somebody and add them to a friends list. You just don’t wanna do it because it takes effort.

The REASON people are pisssed and complained is b/c when someone leaves, it would brick/de-rank the key.
If they’d simply REMOVED this feature, then guess what? no one complains.
Going for punishments instead is IDIOTIC.

feel free to ignore me. I’ve been reading your messages. You expect people to give you their time, but you don’t expect to give anyone else your time. You expect people to play with you when you are ready, but you don’t expect to play with people when they are. you are also willing to abandon a key if anything goes wrong and hold people to a very high expectation while yelling at people who have expectations of you. I’m pretty sure you are the problem here so if you add me to ignore the only thing you’re doing is doing me a favor.
they just added this feature because people needed a solution. They’re not gonna rip it back out of the system immediately. So get over it. i’m guessing you’re exactly the sort of person this is going to affect the most since you seem to leave at will.

i dont expect anything other than for people to play their class and play the key correctly without making metric tons of mistakes.
That’s it. If you can’t do that, I leave, I dont care if you dont like that but I do care if you think that makes me “toxic” …it doesn’t. Stop crying and play better and no one will leave your key
I don’t run keys. Not since shadow lands. It was people like you that made me stop playing mythic plus because of the constant whining and elitist attitude.
Doesint run keys and wants an opinion on how they should be run. Yeah going on the ignore list.

So it’s really odd to me to see people that don’t engage with a form of content licking their lips at the prospect of making that content worse for others.

excellent. I don’t have to run keys to have an opinion. I have an opinion because I want to run keys again. And the more I talk to you people the more I realize I’m definitely gonna rely solely on my friends list because if you guys represent what the random population looks like, I want no part of it.

People should not be punished for leaving a group. Hell, I dont even think I like the idea of ‘vote to surrender’ because every game i’ve been in where that’s an option–you get this stupid hive-mind-set where people refuse to surrender and want everyone else forced to stay with them.
the only ENTITLED people here are the ones who think leavers should be punished and that you have the RIGHT to demand a person gets branded for daring to leave your dumpster-fire of a key.
You also keep conveniently ignoring that removing de-ranking would have been the smarter choice and nipped this problem in the bud. It’s the fact that the keyholder gets screwed by a leaver that even I dont agree with. You solve that by NOT punishing them when this happens.
