Yeah cool, so that’s one Horde race that’s looking good. Meanwhile like pretty much all Alliance races have gotten a bunch of stuff. Most of the Horde races haven’t gotten anything new since the SLs announcement.
I made 3 mockups using Void Elf hairstyles without tentacles.
I used the same default color for all of them, let me know if you want to see another color.

I feel like mostly people are complaining because Night Elves look good. But Night Elves have always had amazing art direction since warcraft 3. But also, it’s early.

I think one of the main issues is that most horde races look like total derps to begin with.
No matter how many new hairstyles, eye colors, accessories and tattoos are given to trolls, undead, tauren, golbins and orcs, people will still flock to blood elves.
Whereas the alliance seems to be more divided evenly among the pretty races with humans at the top and the gnomes/dwarves at the bottom.
This is NOT to say that ugly races don’t deserve new options, I just feel like many will overlook these new options since they’ll be added to ugly races to begin with.
This mostly applies to the males as well since most of them are hunchback steroid addicts.
Disclaimer: I don’t want people to take this for a fact, this is just my opinion. All races deserve new options equally.

well there’s a certain charm to wow races. they were designed to be caricatures. it was originally making fun of the fantasy genre. even nelfs were exaggerated, with huge hands and calves and teeny tiny waists. gnomes with gigantic heads, exaggerated mustaches, huge feet, and so on. it was not supposed to be a beauty contest, in its original configuration. you were supposed to find humor in it. it was irreverent.
blood elves changed all that because they were the first race with relatively normal body parts, and thus the first serious fantasy race. everybody else was a fantasy race with a comical twist. i mean, orcs actually grunt, lending a whole new spin on orc grunt. hehe. trolls are like…hey maan, how ya doin maan. wow is making fun of fantasy games.

Well also, I wonder how many people are like, “Those options look great for Night Elves!” But have no intention of actually playing a Night Elf.
Because I like a lot of the Blood Elf jewelry.
It’s easy to be impressed with customizations of a race you don’t intend to play…
When dwarves get their sweep I’m gonna be like, “Oh it looks great.” Because I’m not going to play a Dwarf. Meanwhile some Dwarf player will be like, “But I hate them, Why did they give butterflies for Dwarf beards? It doesn’t fit and I don’t like it.” And I’ll just keep on with, “But they are great looking butterflies!”
I think that might be a thing for Tauren where I’m not sure they are entirely positive who their target audience is…

haha come on, they put daisies in female tauren hair. daisy is a popular name for a female cow. its tongue in cheek, classic wow irreverence. they’re supposed to be minotaur but wow made them into friendly cow ladies that do the electric slide for their dance. haha

I just mean… what do Tauren players want? Obviously they are supposed to be minotaurs but didn’t that ship sail in 2005? They aren’t super intimidating.
Orcs are the same thing. Orcs are like, more piercings, more scars, more tusks! Give me a dead eye!
But what do female orc players want?

More hairstyles would be nice. I know it’s not really in keeping with the theme, but I wouldn’t mind some long flowing locks for my Orcs.

The Fel corrupted Tauren are pretty dope. But that goes back to the fact that I don’t play non-elven races.
