I was kind of gearing an alt while getting screwed by weekly chest RNG (Granted, my gear is fine) but the MMO burnout is real.

Why, because they aren´t swimming in red, gold and fel green? (ergo, we don´t see the model but the armor).

Cause current Lor´themar design kinda disagrees (though personally I love the fact devs FINALLY understood turquiose is part of the Belf color theme -Blood Icon, nuff said-.

For general player populace (who basically ignore color themes) those mockups could perfectly work for rando Helf/Belf post SL; no distinction whatsoever; though I guess for the actual artist it could maybe work with the short ears for half elf options.

No, just because when I think of the Sin’dorei I immediately picture the summery, warm tones of their zones and cities and popular hair colors (reds, golds, blondes) as well has previously only having green and recently gold eyes.

And when I think of the High Elves I think of their icy-blonde hair, muted blue eyes, and silver-y and blue armor. Cool tones, the opposite of Blood Elfs.

And all of those mockups have relatively muted, cool toned hair colors and blue eyes. So they all scream High Elf to me, and if I saw them in game I genuinely would not for a second assume they were Blood Elfs.

That’s just my view on it hence why I said “Idk about y’all but I wouldn’t mistake them for Belfs” (emphasis on ME).

So, just what I said?

Halduron and like the whole freaking bunch of Farstrider NPCs wear blue (in the case of Halduron) or green/gold though.

And FYI… unless you have access to the actual real statistical data, the “popular” hair colors are kinda anedoctal… I see people using ALL colors not only shades of blonde and red.

Sure dear, specially the 4 miriads of blonde, right? Or “dark blonde” if you prefer a proper name in regards to the irl color found in humans…

Ofc you wouldn´t “mistake” them for Belves, but me thinks the actual colors employed in hair + armor have nothing to do with it and the unusual blue eye coloration have everything to do with it. You like the rest are simply NOT used to see blue eyed Belves, simple as that.

Nope, because I’m not talking about armor at all which is all you seem to be bringing up. They could be naked and it wouldn’t matter, in fact the men are all naked in those pictures. (Thank god )

And FYI…the entire statement was MY. PERSONAL. OPINION. Which I’ve stated and clarified about 30000 times at this point. It is popular TO ME, from what I see.

I associate warm and summery tones and colors with Belves and cool tones with Helves. You aren’t going to belittle me into changing my perception, lol.

These look really good.

For a while now I’ve said the standard “Long” Male Night Elf hair would be a good look for a High Elf. The human “Fabulous” hair looks great too.

The Female Night Elf hair styles also fit the Female High Elf look good too.
