Except I wasn’t talking about the hairstyles, I just meant the cool toned eye and hair colors made them not look like Blood Elfs to me because as a character artist I associate color with character and in MY mind I always picture Blood Elfs as having warm, summery tones and High Elfs as having cool, muted tones.
It wasn’t a “ploy” to gain credibility, I was just explaining why I thought that because 3 people asked me.

I play a bad actor at a hospital. It’s getting harder and harder, last week I was reading lines for a dog insurance commercial when the “doctor” started yelling at me because apparently the OR isn’t an “appropriate” place to workshop.
Also since everyone seems to think I’m just lying about not being an artist, here’s is my Artstation with some personal commissions I’ve done for Roleplayers in ESO and WoW. It’s not the newest stuff, and it’s not a large amount of work, but I guess it’s “proof” that I’m not just lying to try to seem like I know more than everyone else. Was just explaining my PoV on the matter as someone who spends a lot of time studying how color affects perception of characters in gaming/etc.

Thank you so much! I still have a long ways to go but I just got into the Art program at the college that’s actually like 20 minutes away from the Blizzard headquarters in Irvine, and they do direct internships with students at the school, so I’m super excited to start this fall!
My dream goal is to be a character artist at Blizzard and it feels like it’s happening
