i’m an artist also. out of the offerings, only one of them looked belf-ish. hehe. the rest looked elf-ish. sorta generally speaking. male belfs/velfs are still pretty beefy for an elf.

It’s still a show of bad character because you were having a discussion and they disagreed with your sentiment that the hairstyles make them look different from blood elves, then you pull out the fact that you are an artist/designer it just reads to many people as a claim in order to gain credibility. That might not be what you meant, but that’s still how it looks. It’s like people claiming they are lawyers and doctors on the internet for certain subjects. There is just a big trend of people on the internet not actually being what they claim to be.

Thank you for saying that. Like seriously, I wouldn’t see any of them in game and assume they were a Belf just based on how my own aesthetic perception works as someone who is so focused on and passionate about character design, painting, color theory, etc. I was just trying to explain my PoV.

ah i’m an artist is…is that subjective. cause i think my work is art and someone else might / and have said, rubbish. i remember debating a guy who said all fantasy art is emotional garbage of the lowest caliber. i went ballistic. his fav art style - red square, a painting that is nothing but a red square, worth millions of dollars.
