Me saying this has happened, and its distasteful, is not me saying I have been bullied. If I felt bullied I’d let you know.
Yeah I really like what night elves are getting but I’d also like to see more highborne options. Perhaps more elegant hairstyles and jewelry would do the trick.
I don’t think Nightborne somehow reserve the rights to everything that is related to ancient night elf society…especially since they were secluded in a tiny dome for 10 000 years.
Honestly I think Nightborne would be too different in comparison to the Shen’dralar that have intermingled with Nelves again.
So I think there’s potential there.
Here’s a screenshot of Lanesh in game I just took. He still has blue eyes.

I don’t know how you think that blood elves mathematically getting more customization options than high elf fans getting the high elf aesthetic, isn’t “blood elves getting the best end of the stick.
Please elaborate.
See this is the thing, your opinion on how lacking the customization options are to you, isn’t a case to make against overall getting more customization.
You don’t tell a starving person receive scraps that you’re losing in the starvation race because the food you’re being given isn’t food you like, it’s still food.
It hasn’t, skin tones and eye colors aren’t the core of the high elf request, goes to show you never paid attention or cared at all about what we wanted and only cared about how this affected your blood elves.
We haven’t gotten lore connections, regular hair styles and colors and haven’t been told how much we’re going to be allowed to customize our effects to make them less void and more high elf.
Yeah. What they mean is that you can have Blood Elf skintones on a Void elf but also be purple.
That being said, we don’t know about hair colors or hairstyles. So even saying that isn’t particularly fair.
Still, once again, undead elves is the move.
I agree, but we also don’t need to take what they have.
The Aesthetic should be more Night Elf than Nightborne. Just more highborne than current night elf.
I agree.
Take what the Night Elves would make, a silvery metal vine looking necklace or ear cover and apply some arcane looking gems. A diadem or tiara for the head part. Just a few bits and bobs. Nothing big.
maybe eye colors of a more obviously arcane variety.
on a side note, more shades for our eyes and some green ones would be nice.
also some druidic antler stuff…
Fancy some bits and bobs?
Sorry I’ve been spending too much time in Kul’Tiras.
Exactly, honestly my model may be hideous and clunky but at least I really feel like I’m playing a nightborne as its own exclusive race rather than just some highborne knockoff.
I can see how people see nightborne as the ones that basically retained the whole “highborne” theme, but I also feel that there’s a huge difference between a noble night elf who practices arcane magics, and a nightborne who was basically infused/bathing in pure arcane energies for 10k years within a small surface area.
What is going into your mathematics? Is it the skin tone diversity that was immediately gifted to VE players as well? That seems like a tit for tat thing. Where is our second theme? Tattoos?
Yeah and more stuff will come, hopefully after BEs actually have some wins in the customization department.
If anything it shows you don’t understand Blood Elf players concerns very well.
You’re in a better position than Gilgoblin fans. A better position than Dark Ranger requesters.
Never change.
YES! thank you.
Gilgoblin fans look like we’re going to be waiting a long time. Goblin fans haven’t even seen much yet.
And no word on if the very requested Dark Ranger themes will show up.
Way to make a generalized false accusation.
Get over it, the past is done.
We’ll see it in 2025.
If I were to group the races I would do it like so:
Alliance
Humans
—Elwynnian
—Kul Tiran
—Worgen
Dwarves
—Bronzebeard
—Wildhammer
—Dark Iron
Elves
—Night Elf
—Void Elf
—Darkfallen (hypothetical undead Night Elf option - Name may need changing)
—High Elf (assuming the Alliance wants this as an option and the devs are open to it)
Smallfolk
—Gnomes
—Mechagnomes
Draenei
—Exodari
—Lightforged
Pandaren
—Tushui
Horde
Orcs
—Durotari
—Mag’har
Trolls
—Darkspear
—Zandalari
—Farakki (aka Sandfury Trolls)
—Gurubashi (aka Jungle Trolls)
Undead
—Forsaken
—Redeemed (hypothetical Calia-style option)
Tauren
—Mulgoran
—Highmountain
Elves
—Blood Elf
—Nightborne
—Darkfallen (hypothetical San’layn/Dark Ranger option)
—High Elf (assuming the Horde wants this as an option and the devs are open to it)
Smallfolk
—Goblins
—Kelfin (Gilblins)
—Vulpera
Pandaren
—Huojin
I basically use the “Smallfolk” category as a catch all for the short races like Goblins, Vupera and Gnomes. Obviously this is just a bare bones concept with some hypotheticals thrown in.
Is that what they say…?
I always thought it was “BAPITEBITSABOP!”. Makes alot more sense now.
Shows I really don’t pay attention while I vendor stuff.
Aren’t they referred to somewhere as Stormwindians? Or is that only players who tend to call them that?
Darkfallen is the term for San’layn, so I’m not sure it’d be used for undead nelves.
Oh no, why?
You forgot Stromgardians, and Lordaeronian Survivors!
Well…it’s too late for that now. The cleansing of the Sunwell long ago set the stage for Blood Elves to go back to their original eye colors plus gold. Sunwell is now Arcane and Holy.
I’m not sure if they’ve ever been canonically referred to as Stormwindians. I just went with the region Stormwind exists in as the name but Stormwindian is just fine too.
Hmm… then is there some term for undead Night Elves I missed?
Do you not like the idea of The Redeemed as an option?
