The thing though is that we have historically treated undead as a different race OR, as a different class all together.
I would not be entirely opposed to dark ranger skins, but it would be a hard thing to suggest you’re a dark ranger mage.
Not that it matters immensely, but so far the Alliance has a big lead on total amounts of customization options.

Didn’t Velonara and plenty of other Dark Rangers leave her service and join the Horde? I don’t see why you couldn’t have those customization options! Makes sense to me!

You don’t need to be a Dark Ranger mage. You’d simply be a Forsaken loyalist. Which Sylvanas always showed favoritism to BEs, and her loyalists. So why wouldn’t they be raised, she raised random NEs.
There is no problem with this and it’s a popular ask from BE players and support from many players and I will continue to voice my support on it and I actually refuse to speak on arguments that would gatekeep this from Blood Elf players.
I’m glad we agree BE players need more customization moving forward.

I’d love class based stuff.
Like Night Elf Mages have lots of Highborne options. Druids can get antlers/horns like Malfurion.
Let Belf hunters get Dark Ranger options.
Then you can open up new avenues of class/race combos that might not otherwise make too much sense, too!

The NEs also as a group collectively removed themselves and identify with each other but not other Forsaken.
It makes sense to most people apparently just not ones who would gate keep this from BE fans. And it’s no secret many BE fans are often times also Sylvanas fans.
It also if models are so important why would Forsaken have access to every model in game. And for the no more elf crowd why would you want to hijack Forsaken and make them another version of Elf. The customizations should go to BEs.

My point is that she raised many different races, Blood elves are not exclusive to that, so if adding Dark Rangers to the Blood elf race makes sense, then adding all risen undead races from the fourth war to their parent races should be the same.

What does Sylvanas do go around asking the dead before she raises them if their hunters? That seems ridiculous.

I imagine it would be the same as VEs getting new customizations… otherwise I think we should actively petition against Warlocks being able to use the new customizations and idk lets think of other classes to gate keep.
I think it’s player agency Blizzard promised is the point.

Do the BE DK’s have access to the heritage quest where they are put on parade for NPCs including many of the guards that salute them? Or is that restricted against the DK class?
