New Customization Options for Blood Elves and Void Elves

I could see them withholding blue tattoos from Blood Elves so that Horde players can’t look nearly identical to a major Alliance hero. For whatever reason the classic farstrider look has been all but abandoned in WoW, Alleria being the exception

Yeah this is a bad example. Lor’Themar welcomed her pilgrimage until the void stuff went off inside her (which she didn’t seem to know about). But that’s what got her banned, not her being alliance alligned.

Vareesa is probably still welcome, for example.

Blood Elves should have light/gold, arcane tattoo options, imo.

It makes sense that Void elves should get voidy colored tattoos.

I see no reason to exclude Ranger tattoos from either group. It’s ancestral to both, and would actually go well with the Horde aesthetic imo.

Well, both Void Elves and Blood Elves are High Elves, but not all High Elves are Blood Elves or Void Elves.

Here is an oldie for you

Void tattoos would be awesome. I even imagine some sort of Void energies emanating from them.

There is several things I would like to see.

For my Warrior, want to keep that as close to a Void Elf as possible, only because I love the Palavoid theme.

But for my Warlock, I would like to make that as really close to an Alliance High Elf as possible.

Yeah. Like, if we’re going to make both groups look nearly identical, I don’t see a reason to restrict certain options to a certain group of elves (excluding of course the major lore relevant ones, such as golden eyes or voidy skin tones).

Anything related to High Elves should be given to both playable races at this point and let everyone enjoy their own personal High Elf the way they like it.

I mean… we could restrict them to blue on the Alliance and Red on the Horde. Show some pride.

And this what I’m hoping will not happen. If anything finding ways to have Blood Elves and Void Elves look different would be my preference.

I think, after the skin color, except for ear length, which I can see translated to void elves for that half-elf fantasy, they should strive to make void and blood elf options as different as possible. That would include tatoos.

Which, by that, I don’t mean that blood elves shouldn’t have tatoos, but that both style and colors should be different.

Blood elves could get arcane, runic, ordered tatoos, with colors such as red, orange, gold and green.

Void elves could get circular, twisting, coiling lines, with colors such as blue, violet, magenta and, of course, voidy.

I don’t see why not! I like that idea

Back to Jem, I’d love this hair color for Void Elves. I’d play a pink 80s kabuki in a heartbeat!

I too was a 90s child, but we had a number of Jem vhs tapes at the video store and rented all of them, multiple times each as a child. I even wore a couple of them out :stuck_out_tongue:

I hope that you guys would please consider not giving everything Blood Elves have to Void Elves. Some of us are loath to see the opposing faction races look similar to each other. Please keep as much visual differences and uniqueness to each race.
If anything maybe, since you’ve given so much Blood Elf options to Void Elves you could give Blood Elf more Light options to given them something that Void Elves would never have.

I like this idea! I support it. Blood Elves should be WoW’s “Light Elves”.

I have a friend whose void elf has that color hair in art.

I have the entire series on my Plex server so I can watch it any time, any where!
