New Customization Options for Blood Elves and Void Elves

Yea Uranus and Neptune in the dub made for some inappropriately close “cousins” LOL. I love the dub don’t get me wrong. The voices and humor made me laugh, but I do appreciate turning on the original subs for any episodes with those two in them.

My best friend was a big fan of Jupiter. She’s kinda like her too. A mix of fem and masc. Very layered.

Well if you’re going to start Tiny Toons, well then I have to post this

Really awesome stuff! I wish our Void Elves stood different from the Blood Elves, just to make them a bit more distinguished(Or High Elves, if Blizzard ever add them).

this is hyperspace.

i just started watching avatar: the last air bender on netflix. its quite silly so far, but has some good moments.

For BOTH elves … if blizzard put this tattoos only for V.Es , they will assume that V.Es are H.Es hahahahaha

Doesn’t make any sense for Blood Elves to want to look like Alleria.

It would make more sense to try and look like Rommath in terms of Tattoos.

No reason velfs and belfs shouldn’t have at least similar tattoos.

I want voidy ones for Velfs too…

Fel or just reddish ones for belfs maybe?

Blue (traditional) for both?

they are H.Es now. So…blue tattoos for everyone

Most Farstriders should have tattoos like Alleria. It’s just not shown in game except on her.

Right now it’s Alleria specific and thus makes more sense for Void Elves. They where more celtic in WC2 but that’s not true in WC3/WoW times.

Rommath is a much better example on what Blood Elves would get in terms of tattoos. More Runic and Geometric.

Another example is the TBC Box art for Blood Elves.

Right now it’s just never been shown in game. It’s a long history shared by both groups.

The traditional tattoos should be for both.

Different designs can be given but really design wise both groups should share.

Void and High elves wouldn’t have fel or red colored tatts but would have teal and purple and void colored ones.

Both should have the traditional blue and maybe black?

You can share with a bit of distinction, but Alleria’s tattoos are traditional since WCII.

That’s just my take though.

I can see em going this way but I still personally think the traditional ones should be shared.

Alleria was fighting orcs in outland…the thing that happened to the other high elfs (the arthas atack) changed their name faction to blood elfs but they are the same thing…so , alleria does not use fel magic, and their tattoos/eyes are in a blue color…right ?

If blood elfs (high elfs) changed their eyes to gold color because of the new sunwell magic - and now they can take the normal blue color again because of the…i don’t know why…but let’s say they are using some sort of magic that changed again the eyes of some elfs…so…SOOO… ?

They can use blue tattoos again…because the eyes are blue…that’s make sense to me. The tattoos and the eyes are bound to each other OR it’s a personal choice of the elf.

It was soft retconned out and only ever shown again for Alleria.

It’s not traditional it’s currently Alleria specific and makes more sense for the group based off of her.

They where where more Celtic in WC2 but in WC3/WoW they aren’t.

Rommath on the other hand is more in line with Blood Elf design and an actual Blood Elf character. The TBC box art should have existed from the start.

And we need to start adding differences between the two groups anyway.

You already said all of this.

They’re the same people.

Their designs should be the same. Colors they choose to use should be varied but I think they should share blue and black at least.

Differentiate them with voidy ones for void elves and fel being available for Belfs and then some gentler colors for each.

Again though. That’s just my take.

I think there actually is a difference between Void Elf and Blood Elf blue eyes. Like different shades. Although I don’t think it has anything to do with them “Not being High Elves” rather than just making them different. That’s my opinion though.

Sort of how Green Eyes and Gold are exclusive to Blood Elves and seemingly now Purple is exclusive to Void Elves. It’s probably to give them each more of a unique look.

They aren’t. That pic’s from Entropic Embrace when it bugged once.

I’ve always thought that was a rather interesting and specific bug. I have to wonder if Blizzard weren’t already playing with the idea of the skin tones for Void Elves way before the announcement.

An interesting twitter thread about porting hairstyles between races, showcasing kul tiran with human hairstyles and vice-versa.
