Possibly but he was quite clear in saying it was for NPCs only and not for players. It would have been better to be more ambiguous in the interview knowing this was coming, as I suspect he did.
It’s good for people who want more customization. Most people will be happy but the people who want the Silver Covenant as AR and not BE rejects probably won’t be. The rest of my post was just tongue in cheek because you know how the forums are

Actually, there was a customization post not too long ago that showed blood elves with red, purple, and a darkish black color eye color.

I mean they could give us some night elf customization for nightborne to make it fair. At least the skin tones and some hairstyles.
The options were confirmed to be NPC ones, not customization ones.

Oh I’m trying to be hopeful, but it’s really hard. But yeah, this though gave me the flicker of hope I needed to continue.

I’ve come to the decision that simply saying “Could happen” or “Maybe” is a strain for Ion at this point. A lot of what he’s said wouldn’t happened, happened later down the hatch.
So, the next time Ion says “No” just expect it to happen.

Pandaren is still to be featured in datamining. Skin and hair colors, being just texture, is the only thing that was able to be datamined yet.
Their pattern apparently is to focus at one race per alpha build. Eventually we’ll see the Pandaren.
All I want is the long, wavy hair.
