Because you can’t ‘holster’ a shield any more than you can a two-handed weapon. Your options are either carry it or strap it to your back in such a way as to make easily access to it impossible.
Gluing them to your back is the only way it can be done even if it makes no sense.
That’s understandable man. Some are just more of keen to actually meet you. But we’re not going to force you to join.
Can we elect you to propose these ideas for us, pls.

The magnets are glued on to the inside so it can stick to the back of your metal armor!
They literally float on your back behind you with enough space in between to fit a gnome. And I was mostly referring to my shield being at an angle that back holstered weapons clip thru the shield and some shoulderpads also clip.
That’s how they stay on! Invisible Gnomes!
