Wow free trial gives access to all expansions, that’s great. I want to know that when the free trial includes SL, what content can we play with level 20 characters?

I just got SL and will test it tommaro. I’m sure I can get a Mage to port me to The Maw.

It won’t happen for quite some time. At least until the next expansion is active. At that point, there are two ways Blizzard can choose to go:
- Shadowlands gets added to Chromie Time and can be accessed the same as any other expansion. (But still requires hitting level 50 on a character to get access through CT.)
- They increase max level to 70 and Shadowlands is still 48-60 leveling content.
In either case, you’d have to pay a sub long enough to open up Chromie Time or to be able to level past 20 in general. We don’t know which route they’ll go and it will be a long time before we get there. The next expansion hasn’t even been announced yet.
