I'm not Odyn apologist, but this is hardly comparable. "A cult in fanatical service to a literal god" is a "rather misleading-ly" way of saying religion. The Vrykul are born into battle, and are happy to ascend to the Halls of Valor, as are the Val'kyr apparently. The Twilight's Hammer are a murder cult that thrive on bending and twisting the mind until it breaks. The Valarjar are more comparable to a religion, and an allied one at that.
