Never understood why people want backpacks. Then again, I never understood why everyone walks around with capes pretending to be super heroes.
40000 Corrupted Memento seems like a lot. Are they easy to get or is the a crazy grind?
I am glad they are doing this. There was a lot of uproar about the backpack transmog with the Raf, at least this shows they know and listen to some things.
It is a start. My cloak is hidden, but I might even rock a backpack cuz reasons

how many of those corrupted mementos can you get per Horrific Vision though? 40,000 seems like a lot but that depends on how many you can get

I just got the backpack and it doesnât seem account wide. Kinda bull honestly
You have to mog it, destroy it, or put it in void storage to close the buyback window before it will be added permanently to your collection. Or just wait two hours while logged in.

The Backpack is account-wide, any of your alts regardless of armor type can transmog after reaching 110.
Source: me, I have the Backpack.
You can also right-click the item in the appearances pane and set it as favorite, this will make the buyback period expire right away.
