High(er) elves would be easy, Bliz just needs to stretch current models to be taller then blood elves. Players go crazy to make more Hordies and everyone wins.
Story? Bliz could add that later.

Me too!
How about, instead of Ogres you get the Mok’Nathal like what Rexxar is.
The alliance Can have Vykrul or something brand new
I just wish a couple more of them could be warlocks. Only nightborne have the option, so far
Personally i’ve wanted zandalari since i can remember… BUT oh right they cant be warlocks— guess i lost my interested in playing them entirely…
Mok’Nathal are completely different, and either them or Ogres should not exclude the other or act as a replacement for the other.
Other than that, I have no issue with Mok’Nathal being playable. ^^
Uhh … pretty sure “Allied Races” were advertised to be heavily asset based off of core races.
Not only that, the Horde definitely got the better ones on a story-telling level. We got actual civilizations for every single one of our Allied Races. The Highmountain; the Nightborne; the Mag’har; and the Zandalari have actual established lore to play off of to make them more compelling. Thats a far cry better than the Lightforged of Void Elves on the Alliance side.
Hell, we might even get Vulpera as the Goblin Allied race down the line. We’re honestly not doing all that bad with how this specific offshoot PC race system was portrayed as.
Ogres would be different enough that I wouldn’t call them an “Allied Race”. Just a new Race which would be available like all the others. Then the Alliance would need something just as divergent from pre-existing races to match them, such as Arakoa, Ethereals…or Murlocs.
If the race that some members of the Alliance want that is a reskin hasn’t been added do you think Blizzard will add a race that isn’t a reskin?
actually no Ogres have been Allied with the Horde and established since Cata. And in BC if you know the Zones. So they would easy Follow under Allied Race and they have been around since War Craft and really there is no reason to do anything to the doors If a Tauran can fit so can a Ogre. And yes if you check over the years Ogres have been asked for since BC.
Actually true.
I mostly play Alliance but the only allied race I’ve unlocked for the Horde is Nightborne. All my Alliance ones are done and I like all of them.
Horde need more flavorful ones like Vulpera, Ogres or whatever, I agree.
Ethereal’s would be right up alliances Ally to me.
they asked for “large” humans probably wanting the buff giant humans but got overweight humans ><. It looks like they put human skin over panda-ran bodies.
im down with the Mok’Nathal
It is a safe bet that at least two more races they will give Horde might be Vulpera and Ogres. How could you not be happy with those?
please god don’t give the horde Panda Voices on little Fox’s Please alliance take them.
LOL
Basically, the Ogre clans in the Horde, Stonemaul (which have a long history being part of the Horde) and Dunemaul clans, are stuck in storyline limbo. Technically, some Ogres from the Gorian Empire in Draenor came with the Mag’Har Orcs, but haven’t really had much of a presence either. Sadly, this is why I say they have currently disappeared into “fat air.” It is entirely possible to fit them into whatever the current storyline is or future storylines to make them playable, so hopefully the Horde remembers they have Ogres and utilize them.
If Alliance get a reskinned Gnome as its next allied race, i’m giving hope in the system.
Just make a female model for Jinyu and update the male ones. I know on Nazjatar Alliance will be allying themselves with some kind of Naga race with legs.
I didn’t argue with a single point you just made. In fact I didn’t say anything about the points you made. You’re literally arguing with a wall.
All I said was that the Ogre model/rig is NOT based on that of a current race. So it would not be an allied race but an entirely new race. It doesn’t matter that they’ve already existed in the world.
Goblins already existed both in game and in the Horde.
Worgen already existed in game.
Pandaren already existed in lore.
When I say “new race” I’m not saying it’s unprecedented brand new made up right now. I’m saying that it requires art and technical work that cannot make use of work already done on another player race as a shortcut. That is very specifically how Blizzard themselves define the difference between a regular race and an allied race.
Edit: Also Ogres have been with the Horde since much longer than Cata. They CAME from Draenor with the Orcs.
Alliance wants high elves
Alliance get high elves
Alliance doesn’t like them, then asks for high elves.
Hmmmm…
