It’s game changing vs rogues. The amount of games I’ve died in the last 0.5s of a stun & would’ve had the time to get a CD off and survive is uncountable at this point. Being orc makes it impossible to die to kidneys 99% of the time and you always have an answer for bomb.
I could see cross faction solo queing but for cross faction arenas to work they’d have to allow cross faction grouping? maybe if they added some kind of pvp hub where you can talk/group with opposite faction I could see it
From what I’ve heard there’s rumours of cross faction raiding, which would be a start.
But if they can make that happen then cross faction queueing isn’t hard, they just need to remove horde & alliance having seperate r1 ranges.

That pserver solo Q was more popular than regular 3s and it existed since 2009.
I’m aware, I’ve on and off played it for quite a while now. But what I meant was simply that the activity didn’t necessarily result in fast queues, people are still waiting.

obviously 10M includes all aspects of the game, but even at that number I’d still say that it’s SUBSTANTIALLY more participation in arenas than Warmane.
Atleast you can instantly queue and play after 5min of waiting. I’ve waited 1h30 in LFG twice this week for 2S GAMES.
I’d rather wait 5min queue than wait 1h30 and just log off without even playing.
You’re also playing a dead game, where people quit in large due to game balance being unfun to play into. LFG sitting is a product of that.
Soloq doesn’t change the reason people quit. This is what people are ignoring.
Ok and because the game is dying doesn’t mean they can try something that make the people staying have fun instead of waiting 2h in LFG?
The people that have left, already left, and won’t come back.
So focus your energy on people that are staying instead.
I never said I was opposed to LFG, I’m opposed to the fact that peolpe think soloq is going to bring people back and inspire new people to PVP. If we use 10M people as the base number, and 9M quit because of game balance. Are 9M people going to come back because of soloq? Absolutely not.

And if you play to cater the few people left, 10.0 will never be a thing because they will spend all their time making mounts and pets for us to buy to feed their pockets lmao

The SoloQ system will just make you play faster. Thats the point of it. Games wont be optimal, the higher rating you’ll get, the more people will have game awereness and they’ll make the suboptimal comps work.
3v3 will stay organized optimal comps, and soloq 3s will be no voice everyone playing suboptimal comps.
It brings variety and it’s fun.
But Soloq may also kill any incentivization to PVP. If I played soloq every day for a week and kept getting 2 arcane mages on my team that had 0 exp and just kept making me essentially 1v5 while the other team got Ret/Boomy/Feral. Why would I want to play? I have to work so hard to win something so trivial because of RNG.
And you know what will make the game fun and more enjoyable?

The point of the system is learn from it, it obviously needs limitations.
Like the SoloQ on the pserver you mentionned It only had comps the following way:
Healer/Ranged/Melee, tanks could not queue
That’s not true. I literally linked a video where you see the guy play DK/Rogue/Hpal. You aren’t limited to requiring anything other than healer/2dps.
Also I added it a bit late in last reply, but CROSS FACTION QUEUEING IS THE FIX FOR SO MUCH
And tank specs aren’t “tank specs” in WOTLK. You were hybrid between the predominant tank & DPS talents.
