If I’m playing the game than I am subbed anyway. If Im going to sub I am going to do the cheapest option available. Which is 6month or 12month. So yes its a free mount for doing something Im already doing anyway. What part of this do you not grasp? It is is a free mount. If that 144$ you speak of didnt cover the sub then your argument would hold water. Or if the 6month sub was more expensive your argument would hold water.
Currently it doesnt. Sorry buddy. Heck your argument gets destroyed even more of you realize that the 6month sub is $12.99/mo vs $14.99/mo. So I actually save money and get a free mount for doing so. It was a free mount for doing something I already do anyway. On top of that I used a cash back card that I fully pay off at the end of every month so I pay 0 interest. So I saved even more. If you stick around for the next 6 months you spent more and didnt get the mount for free. Im glad you are not my Financial Planner 
From someone who deals with investments on a daily basis I will tell you the cheaper lump sum vs a higher monthly payment is always better. Now I dont have some monthly payment hitting my card. I actually HATE monthly payments and prefer to pay for things in 1 lump some. A good investment is a good investment regardless of if its to a video game company or not.

It reminds me of Gw2 Elder Dragons that have a realm of magic they control. One has earth/nature magic. And all the dragons are pretty massive and different looking. Galakrond-like size. Dragons in that game are more keepers of the worlds innate magic, and the magic then changes them or molds them.

You don’t need to explain to me the logic “it’s free because I pay for it anyway” because that’s the actual trap logic Blizzard offered you.
You would only realize the financial trap you stepped in if you actually made a spreadsheet listing your warcraft expenses yearly and realized it you pay close to triple the price of an xbox gaming pass exclusively to play WoW, a game that is notorious for big content luls. Blizz doesn’t care if you play WoW or not, they care how much money they can fish out of your wallet, that’s how they see you in their MAU data, they don’t look at you as a raider or RPer or simply a fan.
I am not shaming you for playing WoW, I am just saying that your “it’s free mentality” is dead wrong.
Edit: Sometimes you gotta remind people that Blizzard made more money out of selling the Celestial Steed than they did selling StarCraft II.

I have done this. Its why I prefer paying in 1 munp some over a monthly payment. I am not here to talk about sub cost. I am talking about the fact that it 100% is a free mount for doing something I already do anyway. The actual cost of the sub is a totally differant topic. Secondly its not a “financial trap”. The monthly sub option is. I spent $155.88 on my yearly sub. Saving me $24. Since I paid on 1 lump some I also used a CC I got 3% back on so I saved an additional $5.
So I saved $$ and and got a free mont. How is that for a spreadsheet?

It’s like they say, it’s easier to fool someone than convince them that they were fooled. You are embracing this tenet of “It’s free because I pay for the sub anyways” and dismissing everything else. but it’s fine. I understand, breaking that tenet would be the same as assuming you were wrong, hurts the ego.

I explained how you save money by paying a cheaper 1 lump sum vs a higher monthly payment and get a free mount for doing so. You are TRYING to argue otherwise. Go ahead keep explaining how a cheaper 1 lump sum with with free additional content is a worse deal than a higher monthly payment without

Look I kinda like the mount to be honest … However – I would’ve much preferred if it was a cool questline mount, not just some greedy corporate money-grab exchange. 
I don’t know … Having it be a large-subscription purchase or mount-store purchase, personally it just kind of removes the ‘special’ factor out of it.
