It wouldn’t have been so horrible if they made more than three quests. Get the turtles to the water, guide the turtle to the finish, Mario matchup.

I’m happy play memory with the turtles. I play a priest, so my questing options are “healer spec”, “healer spec”, or “super squishy, low ramp up time”. The fast option is usually healer spec.
I’m delighted to guide Loh through the maze. The most difficult part of that is figuring out the terrain because the buildings are not quite square with the streets and the overhangs aren’t obvious.
I don’t do beachhead. I think I stopped doing beachhead before I got revered for pathfinder. Forget that nonsense. That falls in the category of “incompatible with playing a game for fun”.

I don’t mind Beachhead and Shell Game, but half of the Loh ones are annoying and I just skip them after 1-2 tries
How to make the tortollan dailies less annoying.
Step 1 turn off sound.
Step 2 turn on TV.
Step 3 go to war with the tortollan seekers and farm them for 10 hours straight.

Funny that they are so driven by telling stories and collecting old tales in scrolls… but they only know the story of Loh. Those other two aren’t actually stories mind you. Helping someone with their hoarding problem and a turret game with an awkward fixed camera angle.

I would sometimes take a day or two to do the tortollan emmisary. Because Beachhead sucks almost as bad as Kirin Tor dailies did.
Shell game is great. Make Loh Go is…ok. not one of the better WQs, but acceptable. Beachhead makes me just want to smash my face into a wall.

Am I the only one who thinks it’s a little shady the Tortilla chica lets a few extra turtles slip by before each time she acknowledges another turtle made it to the water? I swear, a good 30-40 turtles make it to the water before she acknowledges the 10 I’m supposed to do.
Something shady is going on. I’m calling it now. The tortillas are shifting forces around on the downlow. A future patch they will be the baddies we have to face.

I don’t understand all the hate for the “Make loh go” WQ. I personally love sokoban type games. Yeah, the controls are clunky and annoying, but I’ve gotten used to it. Beyond that, it’s a really easy quick WQ to mark off.

Part of the problem with the tortollan WQ’s is that for all the detail, mechanics and actual -voice-work- invested in these 3 tediously repetitive quests… design/creativity-wise they feel like cheap poorly implemented knock offs of things that were done better in mobile games.
Frequently taking time out of the rest of WoW to do these undermines the immersive nature of being in a virtual world to do things which feel like they’re barely even part of the same game.

The horde main has the turtles exalted. This alliance main…will not lol. Its her last one to exalt and it shall stay where it is lol.
I call it OCD therapy. I will have that one lingering item to tell my OCD screw you! lol. OCD is in agreement, it doesn’t want this too bad either.
Horde may still run these as she has to finish out vulpera exalted. Usually an easy one for a cache. which is where the horde is at. Jsut one more cache and exalted ding…all done.
Till some new faction brought in argus style most likely anyway.
