As Wod points out, demon blood or no, the orcs are bloodthirsty maniacs bent on genocide and destruction. They chose to drink demons blood and they chose to destroy their own world, then they invaded another world to try to destroy that too.
You can phrase it like that but itâs pretty bad faith. Youâd flee your planet too if it was that or death. I can only imagine the mental acrobatics that would drive you to say âThey should stay there and die/become corrupted.â I shudder to think how that reasoning would apply in a real life situation.
Iâm more interested in hearing how two wrongs make a right, seeing as the Orcs continued to do the same thing to another undeserving race and planet.
What if they let goblins pick the next expansion for once? World of Warcraft: Beach Party! Itâd be a hit!
No one is pretending Camp Taurajo didnât happen but anyone except for a troll you know the difference. The Alliance allowed the civilian population to LEAVE THE BATTLE. They didnât drive them into one area and then fire bomb it once it was filled with the civilian population.
And the Alliance didnât keep slaves, they keep prisoners of war. I guess they should have taken a page from the Orc handbook on âhow to fairly treat prisonersâ and instead used them as fuel to reopen the dark portal and toss their bones back thru.
âThese refugees didnât tell us that they were being tailed by bad guys, so Iâm going to go through this mysterious portal and kill all of these completely different guys because we are just misunderstood!â
Never forget Theramore!
I dunno if the average WoW player could handle so much awesome in one expansion. Youâd need a lotta endurance to survive a Goblin party, and there are few races who can keep rhythm with us.
Still, I like how you think baby doll!
How about a expansion called The removal all elves. That would be a big hit with the never happening High elves.
That was under Varian, and we did bad things too, remember when Jaina urged Varian to attack Thrall? Varian didnât. Also Anduin is alot more mild and forgiving then Varian. Varian also allowed Saurfang to retrieve his sonâs corpse. I will gladly allow Humans a place to speak. Theyâve earned it. The past needs to remain the past. I am sure Alliance are not thrilled with our burning of Teldrassil. In Sl you get to pick a faction. You can play a race and choose if you want to serve Anduin or Sylvanas. Orcs are good people and I enjoy our friendship.
Not really.
Kilâjaeden via Gulâdan played into the whole âorcs will be conquerorsâ bit, which is why the orcs willingly drank the blood of Mannoroth. Grommash tells Thrall exactly that in WC3 during the final mission of the 2nd orc campaign.
I never knew doing something willingly = being forced to do it.
Just something to add here. The fact that we saw Grommash refuse to drink the blood, and actually challenge Gulâdanâs offer in the WoD cinematic is pretty good proof that it was willing.
He may have been tempted, but he wasnât forced.
Pssh, we handled demon invasions, angry dragons, and Banshee Spiceâs meltdowns, I think we are prepared.
I mean, whatâs the worst that can happen? Skimpy beach transmogs? Footbomb arenas for PvP? Giant mech fights through downtown Gadgetzan?
Azeroth is a world of Gray.
This would be a beautiful thing to see, and Blizzard should make this happen as soon as possible.
The orcs had a literal prophet come in who claimed the Draenei were going to bring doom to the Orcish population and even then many of the clans outright refused to join the Iron Horde or were strongarmed into it.
âŚthen years later the Draenei actually do start genociding the orcs, proving both Kilâjaeden and Garrosh ironically correct.
Are you insane?
Man you people are stupid.
Why yaâll gotta take this trollâs bait?
I confess Iâve been anti-Alliance since the Defias quest line. Sure they took it too far, but theyâll really got shafted, and I had to murder every single one of them.
Thatâs not to say Iâm pro-Horde though. However, if the Horde offered me a juicy quest line with a nice rewardâŚ
WoD orcs would like a word with you. Itâs in their nature to conquer. They were just stupid and signed up to be slaves. They only had to be offered conquest to get them to sign up. Itâs in their nature and made them easily used.
Mostly because itâs Monday night and funny.
Iâm starting to wonder if you ainât a Goblin in disguise, shortcake. Blizz needs to hire you, pronto.
Grom: Ah, Thrall. You always believed that the demons corrupted our race, but thatâs only half true. We gave ourselves up willingly on Draenor! The other chieftains and I⌠we drank Mannorothâs blood, Thrall. We brought this curse upon ourselves!
