Blizz you cannot be serious years of affliction being in the garbage we finally get a good solution and can stand proud and you decide to make us garbage again. Stop screwing with the game. I might as well cancel subscription again.

Trust, I feel you both on this one. Yeah, there are guys like Kalamazi who own affliction, however lots of people that I talk to either hate afflic or don’t understand the rotation.
If they nerf Malefic Rupture, goodbye afflic locks in Mythics cause were already not viable in PvP, it will no longer be competitive and people will always go for the “meta” for faster runs. Party comps of 3 WW and/or firemages anyone? I see that coming fast. There will be classes that are no longer touched after this.
Even just nerfing it to 3.0 instead of (3.333 down to 2.7) and giving us back Unstable Affliction on more than one target would be an okay change but not a huge decrease to damage on our soul shard spender since we can only have UA on one target. Malefic is literally the skill that keeps our dps in line with other classes. Ugh.

affliction is my fav spec, but I was leveling in destro (currently 55) as my alt.
Destro is fun, if you get Wilfred’s leggo it’s decent in m+ until you get a tank that moves mobs constantly out of your AOE.
