Nerf Warlocks and Spriest

Foresight doesn’t matter if you’re getting trained the whole game. Warlocks lose value in dark pact. Im not saying warlocks are bad by any means but what people are complaining about is absolute nonsense.
I just don’t get how no one talks about BM…

oh forgot I was playing a 90s fps without the ability to regain hp myb u right g

Why talk if you’re just going to be sarcastic the whole time?

Because you’re saying stupid things.

Yea because BM isn’t broken.

I believe this is Blizzard’s philosophy on testing changes in PvP:

To be fair it’s not nearly as awesome as people claim. Even when it gets used at high health people often just burn through it. I mean what would the solution be that you guys would like to see? Warlocks just have no defensives?

you activated his trap card

Yep… I got nothing.

If everyone got what they wanted, no one would do damage and every class would be C tier. Lol

Well they can be and they are, because they average something like 20-25k hps a game, which is basically half of a classes st dps profile.
They passively heal approximately 25% of the damage that they take. That is unbelievably insane.
If you aren’t sure how significant that is, play a healer and try healing a warlock versus healing a moonkin/feral/hunter.

Dark pact is instant, usable while kicked, can be cast while stunned, and lasts 20s with a 1 minute cd. There’s basically NO downside to just pressing it instantly when you get stunned. Or cds are pressed.

That’s not true at all. It’s EXTREMELY easy to get hit once every 3s from anything, be it a priest fiend, demo/hunter/dk pet, warrior/rogue/dh have mobility to match and tag, shaman wolves, ret range attacks count as well etc. You can still create enough distance/los to avoid MEANINGFUL damage, but it’s still extremely normal to take small hits that proc impish instincts.

I absolutely know how they both work. It’s almost impossible to have below 20k hps as demo/destro lock between pets, instant casts, and dots and just pressing pact when stunned.

Also, fel lord drs stuns and is easy to avoid so if a melee has any kind of awareness or game knowledge they can intentionally use it to dr themselves when they dont have meaningful damage or ignore it entirely.

I think every single class would trade whatever their minor defensive is for dark pact in a heart beat without question.

It’s the best “mini” defensive in the game. And the only thing that comes close is renewing blaze.

Nah, no one is saying that. But i think reducing the effectiveness of impish instincts and soul leech as well as dark pact duration would be more than fair.

Brother, you are arguing against 2 warlock mains. One is stuck combatant, the other peaked 2400 s1 SS where CR was like 600+ points higher than average CR.

I never claimed to be some awesome player. I just play with RL friends because it’s fun. But good for you putting so much value in whatever your rating is and associating anyone’s opinion with said rating.

Sorry for being rude, just most of the time lower rated players are the most stubborn. Won’t admit when wrong, won’t try to improve gameplay even when given tips, blame class balance instead of self improvement. My apologies fellow wow enjoyer, have a good day!

LOL, and remember that time Havoc DH’s were broken!!! oh wait… that’s now.

What if impish instincts reduced the range of port by like 10 yards, making it so the lock has to play closer, thus lowering the gap for melee to move at the trade off of more often port. i have no idea if thats troll af, i dont q game regularly

Even if I was playing a broken spec like BM however, it wouldn’t change the fact that you have been saying a lot of dumb stuff.

I understand your point and that can certainly be case but like a lot of things in life theres variance. In my case, I’ve played wow for forever. It’s just more enjoyable to play with RL friends at this point than chasing some number. I just genuinely don’t care about rating at this point. SS was fun when it was new but after getting to 2400 the frustration outweighs the enjoyment at this point. Obviously you want to win but If i go 3-3 then that’s fine by me.

Have a good one.
