It’s a joke how powerful it is. No pet should have that much speed along with power and multiple dodge abilities. If it’s suppose to be a joke, fine. But nerf it now.

That’s not quite true. There are a few other pets that have similar high stat combinations, the problem with the Hermit Crab are those stats in combination with its ability set.

The Boghopper has the exact same stat set as the Hermit Crab.

This pet has been out for a while now and if Im not mistaken its a meta (pvp) pick. So why now?
Slimy Darkhunter is also pretty over budget (Way too much health).
Honestly the closest pet with reasonable stats is the S/S Spectral Raven (1400/236/249), if the Hermit Crab was adjusted to that it wouldn’t be so bad.
Just because something has been over the top for a while doesn’t mean it should stay that way. No offense but that’s a terrible point of view.
In any case there has been lots of crazy pets in the past and while they stuck around for some time they were eventually brought closer in line. Just ask Graves.
This should be no exception.

Graves was OP from the get go. this crab has been out since xpac launched and this is the first complaint Ive seen about it. Sure its not a l2play thing?

Fortunately, this isn’t anything new, people did comment about it at the start about pets with too many stats, Hermit Grab was the prime example. By the end of Warlords there wasn’t much of an outcry about Graves either because the community at large had given up on there being any changes.
If something is much stronger than everything else, it should be addressed regardless of time passed or number of complaints.

not to be pedantic, but Kaivax in a blue post has just announced a nerf to Hermit Crab, and its the stats that are the problem.
