Theres a little bit of hyperbole going on here, I think the reality is that a rogue openned with a cheapshot and went into a kidneyshot/between the eyes, in which case it would of taken the rogue 9 seconds to CC king you to death.
Also mutilate hits for average 450 on a fully buffed rogue in PVE, you’re telling me they are doing that to you in WPVP?
trying to figure out how the rogue managed to do 3k damage in those stuns too, I’ve seen pshero crit with between the eyes for 500, but even being bias against rogues and siding with his argument the math doesn’t add up.
ngl I’m about to store this rogue in the closet somewhere bc we’re so bad at everything since we don’t have cloak. If you don’t get them within the first 5 seconds. Might as well stand there and let them kill u. Deep Sub spec is all you got right now but you’d have to respec constantly if you’re raiding
Everyone has a counter to the class they play for rogue its tank warlock , or just bring faps with you stuff to counter exists in the game just gotta use it.
The reason you see so much back and forth on why rogue should or shouldn’t be nerfed is because we cant balance them in 1v1 vs group pvp.
In the open world when I don’t have peels/healers/ the health buff. Rogues are killing me in a cheap shot basically, If you insta trinket, they have a million tools to just repeat. Muta is doing far too much for the low energy cost, combo point generation and highest damage. it’s bad design, there needs to be a trade off.
Now on the other hand in group pvp i can see why rogues feel underpowered. You open up on someone, eat 52 dots ur target gets insta healed and you died before you did anything useful. Nobody wants to group with you in the event beside other rogues so you end up in these gank squad group your annoying as hell to like 1 person and then u all get deleted after you kill a target. Meanwhile mages are farming 2k coins spamming 1 ability like mongoloids.
So what can you do, just out right nerfing them is not the way to go about it.
