God please nerf heroics phase 2… would be nice to actually do at least one once in a while, but as it is right now, literally impossible to find a group as dps - and I don’t blame anyone for not wanting to tank this crap for pugs, either. It’s just miserable.

My paladin is at 109% avoidance I can’t seem to get rid of enough
Im done with TK attunement so i don’t need to touch the slow boring fest that are TBC heroics.
For dungeons i just can enjoy retail Mythic+, way more fun and actually difficult not just stat checks on the tank.

I don’t understand how raids can be post nerf but not the heroics. Heroics should be a stepping stone to raiding but raiding seems like a stepping stone to heroics right now.

Im a BiS Feral Tank. I find the heroics interesting. I run for nethers so I have an extra perk. I do have to select the right dps and healer classes, honestly having salvation, a slow, and a poly or sap make every dungeon alot easier. I like the skips, the pulling pats in tight windows, the o sht moments that occur. I wipe in some heroics but have yet to not finish one.
I do think from a difficulty to reward ratio it is way off compared to raids forcing people to go straight into raiding. But I enjoy having the content, still grinding rep, and getting nethers to make some gold.

I too have a full BiS feral tank, yes it makes them a lot more tolerable, and yet still, no, I don’t think heroics should be as difficult as they are. What’s the sense in content that drops a bunch of pre-raid gear but requires raid gear to comfortably complete? God forbid I want to start gearing up an alt outside of raids.
I just think there’s probably a reason they nerfed them to begin with lol… random mobs chunking slightly undergeared tanks for half their health isn’t fun.

it sounds like you’re the one who sucks, and wouldn’t have been able to hack it when the real tbc was out. Not that I’m surprised real gamers are a rare breed these days.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of crappy players with good gear that think they’re good because T-4 is easy. Releasing nerfed raids was a huge mistake by Blizzard. All it did was inflate the ego of a lot of below average players. Heroics show them that they’re not as good as they think they are.
A competent group can speed run any heroic with ease.
There will be times that I still get 1 shot.
If that’s happening to a geared tank, then it’s not a gear issue. It’s a knowledge issue.

It was weird. But nerfed kara made the gearing process faster to run heroics to begin with. If heroics were also nerfed people are left with nothing to do. Badges would be so easy to get. At least with harder hitting heroics you give the try hards something to do. Attunes are a blocker but you only have to do them once

Ive done over 100+ heroics with like 12 full wipes in total. Heroics aren’t fun. I see why tanks dont do them or charge services.
Some heroics are definitely easy like Mana Tombs but several are def broken.

Heroics are the best content in the game currently. It would become 100% slop if they’re nerfed. If anything they should buff some items from them, but that would be it. Git gud.

Try marking targets, CC-ing properly, and worrying a bit about comp. Game is fine, the less changes blisslop introduces the better. Only good change so far has been dualspec.
