You say that, but I keep reading that these melee players apparently really are having problems with them. I said I don’t play Lock so I don’t actually know how bad it is or not. I’m just trying to reach a middle ground.
I’m tired of a handful of classes in the game having so much power creep that they all have a tool or answer for every combat situation now instead of toning down the classes that originally gave them problems to begin with.

And yet I see nearly zero of them outside arena. I’ve been doing 20+ pvp blitz brawls and numerous regular “non epic” battlegrounds all week. From what I’ve seen, the least played dps classes in no particular order: feral druids, preservation evokers, demo locks, arcane mages, outlaw rogues… The most represented dps classes in no particular order: ret paladins, arms warriors, marksman hunters, and DH.
And my two mains right now are a feral druid and demo lock. I gave up on the demo lock. The feral is not as awful as I thought when I switched some talents around and got into decent blitz brawl lobbies.

Yea, but it shows up in general pvp forums so it has a psychological effect on anyone who reads the forum. And nerfing a class like demo lock in arena, especially the mobility, will royally kill it even more in other pvp.

Simply pit one against the other and you will see this just isn’t the case.
There’s a simple logic at work: TIME. It takes a melee to hit a caster faster than a caster can cast a spell. This is why I want instant-casts to be nerfed across the board. It’s not skillful to smash stun a target and deal 300k DPS while they can’t even respond with a single cast. If you think Boomy instants are stronger, you’re probably extremely undergeared or are DPSing a target whose healer has total free-reign and both have cooldowns while your team does not, or did not connect on the same target.
