Is there a trick to killing this thing with prot paladin? I killed this thing my first try on guardian druid and my health bar barely moved the whole fight. I keep getting one shot with defensives with my prot paladin. Certain spec I should use, or how to use valeera?
Set Valeera as DPS.
Go Holy, throw a beacon her. Don’t do anything else. Just heal and dispel. In about 15 minutes, the boss will die. Just don’t do anything to get aggro.
I get aggro stuck on me with just ONE single holy shock and it never goes to her again until i die.
End of the day, i just went DPS, went in with DP and start stacking her heal buff and just do it that way. Less headache and what not.
Maybe they fixed it. But that’s how I did it on like week 2 and my wife (who has never played Hpal) also did it on her third try.

Yes. On the specialization menu, mouse over to Holy (Lightsmith) and hit the “Activate” button. Now tank the boss as Holy spec with Val as DPS. Perfect one-shot.
Use lights potential pots, save cd from around 76% and 52% for adds, flask
around 5% prepare CDs heavily for strike, lower than that, maybe even divine shield
He becomes a joke at higher ilvls of course
Despite what people say, i think he was a fun fight as prot
This is the way. I do most Valera content as heals and it is ridiculously easy. I feel like Val as dps and running as heals is way over tuned. It won’t last I don’t think
