Nelves Started the Genocide War!

Did Joseph say those words to Shandris? Or did she simply identify an uprising in an enemy organization and decide to back it because it might bring down said enemy organization?

Now, you’re actually addressing the lore. You make a valid point. She may not have known, though he was very open about bringing the Crusade back to it’s roots. And we all know what those roots are. Killing all undead.

But, for the sake of argument, say she didin’t know. the Nleves still backed a genocidal effort against the Forsaken.

The extent that Shandris gives you is this:

  • Scarlet Crusade are enemies.
  • This dude Joseph, who Shandris probably knows nothing about and DEFINITELY has not met the guy, is starting a revolution against them.
  • The revolution succeeding would be a benefit.

This is grasping at straws at best. The Night Elves - if this breadcrumb is canon - backed a coup against the Scarlet Crusade, not against the Forsaken. Their efforts afterwards, which we hear nothing about, were not backed by the Kaldorei. That was all Joseph.

It’s not grasping at straws at all.

But, for the sake of argument, say she didn’t know. the Nelves still backed a genocidal effort against the Forsaken.

No matter how you try to slice it, it still happened.

Why did you quote yourself twice saying the same thing?

unless blizzard has forgotten about it/no longer considers it canon

Yeah, something funny going on there when you quote somebody and also copy and paste. I’ll fix it.

She should see what we’ll do for a pet!

It’s a single crazy dude who can’t even take control of the church he lives in without help. This is not Night Elven support of genocide against the Forsaken. This is Night Elven support of damaging the Scarlet Crusade. Assuming, of course, that these quests that no longer exist should matter at all.

really, even if Blizz forgot. It doesn’t get decanonized unless they deliberately do so or overwrite it with new lore. If Blizz ever does tell us they no longer consider it canon, then it obviously won’t be.

Alright then. Then did the Alliance participate in dungeons like Atal’Dazar and Temple of Sethraliss? Brann’s in there talking to us, so it must’ve been us.

Or did the Horde clear out the Deadmines? There’s Horde quests in there, so it must’ve been them.

The game happens until Blizz tells us they haven’t. this isn’t new.

Do “his boys” talk about killing all undead, or just him? Are we sure they’re actually “his boys” or is it just another of his insane ramblings?

Now, you’re reaching. How do we know anything in the game is lore and not just some fevered dream of an Oldgod? Kek.

The Scarlet Crusade isn’t new. It goals are known. It’s roots are known.
