Which becomes irrelevant when you go afk in a season 4 fated lfr raid for loot which is the equivalent of today’s season 3 heroic. So what are you trying to prove?

Except the pve andies such as yourself and many others, won’t do this event so it means nothing.
Meanwhile the Plunderstorm enjoyers who are much likely in pve and pvp, have heroic gear and/or have pvp gear from this current season.
So it becomes irrelevant to them too.
Uh, except that it is now, they’re rewarding normal raid level gear for doing it.

It’s relevant now because we are still in season 3. Who care if the gear is irrelevant in 6 weeks. We aren’t talking about this event giving power/gear related progress for season 4. Your argument is beyond stupid. It’s like what’s the point of doing season 4 gear progression if it will be irrelevant in season 1 of TWW? We are discussing the here and now, not a month and a half in the future.

exactly. but the incentives should only be rewards that are within the game you play.
if plunderstorm is going to award rewards, they it should do so for plunderstorm. that is why there is so much outrage. because players that collect all things “wow”, now have to stop playing wow and play some other random game to collect additional fomo rewards.

If you have to rely on that BoA token to get gear, You’re one of those dudes that sit in valdrakken claiming you’re bored but have hundreds of things you haven’t yet done.
It also means You’re just a LFR raider, if anything you don’t even do content
I can promise you that one time raid piece is literally just vendor/disenchant materials for the average heroic raider. No one raids at normal and stops.

People cried about power player being tied to extra content (ie Torghast) outside the typical activities and said it should just be cosmetics.
So Blizzard only put cosmetics in Plunderstorm.
And people are still criticizing them.
