Need Torghast like content for solo play

I liked the challenge of Torghast.

I think I lean towards the visions style of limited challenge but extra gear per week. I think we have come full circle but without solo play.

Yeah I find it a struggle to enjoy collecting mounts anymore. There’s simply too many at this point.

Not to me it wasn’t. It was boring and horrible to slog through. I hated every moment of it.

People said it was bad because the PVE Crowd only wants to do their content and nothing else.

“lol @ chorghast”

god I hate them

What content do you do at end-game?

just make every dungeon in the game challengingly soloable…classic thru DF.

To be fair, the bad players cried because it was “hArD.”

No never wanna see another Torghast like content whatever like EVER again.

The way most people feel about Torghast is how I feel about M+

Torghast was just boring and ugly as sin. No personality whatsoever.
If they had put a lot of variety of asthetics into it to make it more eye appealing, maybe.
I love sushi. But I aint eating it if its 3 days old even if its still safe. Its disgusting once its not fresh.
Same exact thing, but ruined over some triffling little thing.
Same with Boreghast.
It had potential but they drabbed up the place so much that it was hard holding back the vomit.

Content is good when pretty

Agreed.
The reason Im here instead of ESO is graphically this game is much nice to look at.
ESO just looks too real. If I want real I’ll go outside, lol.
Aesthetics make the meal…and in my opinion can make or break a video game

Exactly this and some classes had it worse then others like never ever want to see that kinda content ever again.

It wasn’t hard. It was boring, repetitive and held nothing of value. I’d rather watch paint dry. I never got to the top levels, not because it was hard, but because I couldn’t take how mind numblingly craptastic it was.

Despite minor flaws I really enjoyed (and still do) Torghast. Wish they kept going with the formula but just changed scenarios. With cosmetic rewards only of course. Imagine a Dragon Gauntlet thing - one Gauntlet(Tower) per aspect. Each flight with its own ambience (Earth,Life,Dream,Magic,Time)…that would be awesome!

Torghast was only bad because it offered no gear rewards. It should have been a solo gear path with harder difficulties offering commensurate gear scaled to the ilvl required to do it.

They forced people to do it for legendries. omfg people are so forgetful. It was massively harder for some specs and was an obligatory every week not to fall behind. I remember doing level 3 on my mage and couldn’t out eat the debuff without using a barrier first then I would get attacked by assassins because I was out of combat. Horrific visions were not as bad but were just as boring. Blizzard doesn’t make content like this optional because they don’t think people will ever do it.

I wont be happy about gearing until every type of player has the same opportunity as m+ and pvp. And by that i mean do it as much as I want. If im in a guild capable of clearing a raid in one go why cant I do it every night?

Raiding is fun on Tuesday and Thursday from 8 to 11 with the guild. I don’t think I would enjoy more of it. Probably why I haven’t done a single mythic plus since season 3 in shadowlands.

That might be true for you but it is a glareing issue with gearing. Of the three end games raiding is the only one were you can only go once.

Im 99% sure its were part of the argument comes from against more sources for gearing. And i can understand it. If solo play got its own repeatable gearing method and raiding stayed as it gearing wise im not sure how raiding as a whole would hold up.

I wish I could scale myself down to do some of the older solo content. Its no fun 1-shotting things.
