Need help with ticket. was closed without even knowing the problem with high pingt

tx number US98726099

having latency issues starting with the hops that hand off to blizzard. been this way for weeks now. My tx has the trace info and system info in it. My local isp has exhausted everything that could be there side with new equipment wiring ect.

tech support forums is a ghost town with no blue posts at all for many people having the same problem. There is a helpful mvp trying but its not their job and they dont have the tools to see everything. I would just like some feedback from a blue of what to do or they know and are reaching out to their peer on the business side to fix it

Tracing route to 24.105.62.129 over a maximum of 30 hops

Not an expert, but your ping times here do not seem to be outside of normal. Not sure where hops 9-10 are, but could be simply because 2 nodes are further apart from each other distance wise.

There would have to be more information to see if packets were being dropped, or what the ping time is actually at peak.

My questions would be, where are you connecting from, to what server are you pinging, what kind of internet do you have, and is it wireless or wired network.

You can use the pencil icon at the bottom of your post op and move it to the tech support form. They’d be better suited for this kind of thing.

They already have a thread active there.

sadly its fluctuates often and comes to 125 in game latency which is 50 higher then my normal. some times its 75 for 20 minutes then back to 130 then spikes at prime time. there is a throttle somewhere going on

Although Tech Support maybe quiet, there isn’t much Customer Service here can do to help.
