That’s not an unfair position to take. It’s actually one of the better responses I have seen whenever I bring up the point about Ret being Garbage all of these years because of PVP.
It feels so bad to have a spec that can never be better than middle of the pack on the meters in groups and raids, and that’s when played by someone who knows how to really play the spec, and has good gear, all based on a different game mode. It also funny that the whiners in the PVP crowd always have no response when it’s pointed out that Ret is also very easy to get kited in PVP, and running face first into them when wings are very obviously up makes them, well not too bright.
I’m not trashing you, friend. I’m just making the point that bad players from one small mode of the game ruin the spec for everyone else and unless the devs ever stop balancing specs around PVP, it’s never going to improve.
