Nay-sayer now converted to Classic

Can’t wait for more people to give Classic a go

I’ll check it out.

I used to talk about how superior vanilla WoW was when the game didn’t feel right for me anymore. I didn’t know about private servers at that point thought and when I few years later tried one, I was sort of surprised how right I was. It was even better than I expected or remembered. I’m having the same feeling about Classic, it’s even better compared to private servers than I thought first.

I feel the same way as this guy.

This is win right here. He’s confirming everything I’ve been hoping for and he was skeptical. Maybe this experiment will be more successful than thought, which would be nice.

Excellent video, thanks for posting. This guy explained very well why Vanilla WoW was the best game ever, and why it is so awesome having it almost completely reborn as Classic.

I hope it may have a beneficial effect on retail too…

They really need to listen to this guy. He said he likes BfA (yuck!) and he feels this way about Classic STILL. That means any retail player could potentially feel the same way once they’ve tried it. I know it’s just one random guy’s statement but this does give me hope that Classic might really pop off.

Also for a streamer he actually didn’t annoy me. Good on him.

I’m seeing people thinking Classic actually gets up to 5 million players.

This video is exactly what I’m looking forward to. I met people in Vanilla, and TBC, who I played with, talked to, hung out with even and met up with, for years.

Classic was just too good.

This is Venruki, one of the best mages to ever play the game. MLG Champ 2010 during Wrath of the Lich King, when arena was at it’s peak, and 2012 World Arena Tournament Champion, hosted in China.

There is a long lost arena fanatic crowd who have been very disappointed with the game since WoD, and have been skeptical of classic because well, it has no arena! But I think they will find that it’s not necessarily arena that they were missing, but that core class design and gameplay of classic, that those original expansions built upon, is what made the game great. PvP in classic, thanks to the restoration of spell batching, will flow and flux in a way many players haven’t felt in a really long time. They will remember what they have been missing.

Interesting, I’ve actually never heard of him because I never followed all that (not saying there’s anything wrong with it though). All the better if he’s well known, I hope more well known people start saying similar things.

I hope Blizz is prepared!

They say the best measure of quality, in anything, is whether it stands the test of time. This is hard to do in the gaming world because of the ever-evolving graphics and whatnot.

Yet Classic just was too good. Sometimes even masters create masterpieces that they don’t know just quite how they did it, but now I think we are realising all the various bits that came together that made it magical; with plenty of examples of how NOT to do things (that came with future expansions).
