What addons would you guys like to see become native?
I’m surprised bliz tackled the CD cooldown before other easier addons like dps/hps meters which seems a lot easier to do.
Is making those addons native difficult? Most of the addon creators make fixes pretty fast.
I always assume the people making addons are bliz employees or ex-employees monetizing their knowledge for some side money.
It doesn’t really matter to me personally. If the native version works well, it just saves me a couple of clicks now and then. If it doesn’t work as well, the external version is just a couple of clicks away.
If they eventually limit or get rid of external combat addons and design the native UI and encounter complexity accordingly, fine by me.

Some features of addons like Plumber.
I very much doubt that’s the case, considering the former is basically just moving some icons around and displaying them and their assigned ability properties based on conditions. Sounds like their meters would come with a lot of backend changes as well.
Reasonable to expect them to release slower than projects that are already “complete” and have contributors with years, even decades of experience on that particular addon. Getting off the ground takes some time.
I’ve also seen Blizzard fix their UI issues pretty quickly. Except auto loot I guess, idk what’s up with that one.
