"Nathanos"-style Forsaken: Vampirates Customization/AR Megathread

Yeah besides for these options they likely would only get undead skins and red eyes. Maybe jet black? Lanathel has sort of that but with a green tinge. The green tinge is there I think though because she was originally a blood elf.

This is a neat idea to get the “Human” Forsaken model.

Certainly a more original then mass producing Nathanos-es… Nathanie?

No.

You’re not getting this and it’s not going to happen.

Vampires (or whatever you want to label them) are not “good guys”. If this was allowed, we’d next have a thread asking Blizzard to let us play as Mawsworn and demons.

Oh I forgot to comment on this, but yeah, I agree entirely. The ritual is kinda meh in the first place, and drains the Valk, which we really don’t have more of in the first place. Then there’s the matter of “they need to have a living relative that looks like them.”

This ideology bypasses all of that. There’s no lore to make a forsaken >> human vampyr though, as in ‘regrow’ their flesh (aside from cannibalize? I think that restores their flesh and reverses rot? But I could be wrong) though, so that would be a hole in it for those who want ‘I’m already a forsaken, what now’ lore.

Hello Pot.

Hello Meet

That was basically my only real problem with the Fresh-saken concepts.

I get that Blizzard did it to keep it to Nathanos only, but that whole thing always seemed odd to me.

I often feel like the Val’kyr are oddly limited in their abilities.

Random plots don’t work if they where 100% effective all the time.

That was before shadowlands though. For all we know the shadowlands has magics/technology/ first one tomes that would help make the forsaken have fresher bodies. Seeing as we did a bunch of stuff for like soulshapes with ardenweald, or repairing the stand where kyrian ascend.

Anyway human dks use the living models, I don’t see why forsaken can not.

The issue I have with Vampirates is this:

transforming the pirates into blood-crazed vampires.[9]

We don’t really have much in the way of them not being crazy and trying to wipe everyone out.

The only reason the San’layn that were left (which was very few) went to the Horde was in sheer desperation, but they were still conniving and failed miserably. Pretty sure they’re all probably dead now, too.

But I guess we have DKs now. So… :woman_shrugging:t4:

I don’t see the issue here just add some fangs to the chineese undead models.

Not really what’s being asked for here dude.

What is being asked for is a whole new set of models and skins. That’s not going to happen any time soon dude.

Is not as if the Shadowlands have an acestral Vampyr race sitting around in Revendreth nor an expert in zombification in Maldraxxus, no sir!!

Still a more coherent plot than the… thing the devs deployed to justify Calia “The UwU cinnamon roll” sacred ZOMBIE.

Now, that´s how absurd looks like.

I see the troll fairy has visited this thread too. (I’m not talking about plain disagreement, either.)

Yeah, it’s unfortunate. It does seem like our ideas are getting a bit better reception lately, though. Perhaps people are being bitten by the Halloween bug. Hope the energy stays after that though for sure!
