They should be able to dual wield them since I have 2 now.
But, Warlocks can use a 1H and offhand? I havenāt played mine in months, so I genuinely didnāt know.
Itās still appropriate for the class/spec, just inconvenient that you donāt have an OH to go with it.

Iām BM so I have 2 pets. Nathanos gave me 2 guns, one each week. Iāll give them to my pets and let them do my job, as a BM Hunter should. Seens fine by me!

Exactly, and weāre sick of it, we should be able to pick staff, MH, OH, just like we do with specsā¦ but Blizzard just doesnāt get it
Eh, I can understand their frustration.
I got the Caster Sword both times on my warlock and mage. Like, I want the dang staff. At the very least they couldāve made the thing check if you had the 1h and give an offhand to go with it.
Iāve been told that weāre getting weapon tokens in SL (like the old armor tokens pre-WoD), so that will solve that.
However, I wish there was something in place for questing/dailies.

I think it only covers weapons and not OH/shields, though I could be wrong.
I need an offhand for my mage, I hadnāt been able to get one in months, so I have a 125 main hand and an 85 offhand. Unfortunately I donāt think there are any offhands this event.

It cover everything, but you need a token for MH, OH or Weapon, at least thatās what it says on WoWhead

Just guessing here, and maybe kinda hoping too. First week the Nathanos WQ said specifically āRewards a weaponā. This week it says āRewards a piece of equipmentā. So maybe weāre now primed to start getting some type of gear each week, but some idiot at Blizzard started the piece-of-equipment rollover with another weapon. Guess weāll know in 6 more days.
Does seem a bit foolish to give us a Weekly where we get the same damn thing each week.

Well apparently both glaives drop on both specs. My old DH has both azinoth glaives, but decided I like NE better so rolled a new DH. Got the three spikes both times on new DH and the two blade drops both times on my BE demon Hunter.
I may go to try to get azinoth on new DH. My guess is it would take about only 8 attempts. So maybe if they work in timewalking as before.
I was able to get several specs of different gear, but really want a shield from Nathanos.
My shaman on got two handers both times. My mage only got one hander both times but two hander would have been better or an off hand.
8 attempts at what? One glaive?? It took me 3 months to get one, on multiple toons, then got another the next week on my dh, then the timewalking cameā¦last night. Before the reset, and I didnāt get it. I justā¦had a feeling I would. Reset comes, timewalking is gone for 6 mo, so I just hop my way in with my dh, just to seeā¦got the other one I needed. A day late, and a dollar short. The 6 (or 3 mo? Lol I donāt remember) mo timer beganā¦finally after all that time, I got the transmog.
Remember thereās at least 3 mo between rotations of timewalking raidsā¦not to mention the warglaives are NOTORIOUS for dropping duplicates of the same hand.
Now, I set my sights on [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker]ā¦have everything but Garrās Bindingsā¦damn himā¦JUST DROP MY BINDINGS GARR!!! I farm every reset on 6 toons and never get them!!!
