Narrative failure for Curse of the Ula'tek

Well. If you are not aware, you’re asked to go into Maisara caverns to kill a boss, which you were already expected to have killed since the other quests in the zone directs you there.

It has been a while since we had to go back and kill a boss which supposedly was dead already, just so we could move with the story.

I guess it is the first time which the campaign is retconning the side quests of the very same expansion.

Well done, Lead quest designer.

I mean, we had to redo all the dungeons in Legion to keep moving our campaigns forward and upgrading our weapon. Don’t even get me started on how many times we had to run Halls of Valor over and over again for our order hall AND the whole Trial of Valor raid access quest chain

I passed on your regards to CoPilot and it said, “thank you.”

and it HAD to be that dungeon. man, i hate that place so much.

would have been nice if we didn’t have to actually run the instance again-- just plod on in, see a boss, kill the boss, collect notes, and leave. just have our soon-to-be raid-fodder join us in the party, easy peasy.

Just a quick point I was thinking about…. how do we know Ula’tek is not the world soul?

Came from down with the haranir, called up by the amani which is why the cradle is empty. makes sense to me based on the players : )

Where is Gorak Tul? Why hasn’t that threat returned?

Why would they seal it away though.

probably really expensive on upkeep, hard to get the parts situation, if we’re killing each other to feed the god and we’re still starving we can jut eat each other, cut out the middle man.

personally I think it is worth the effort and was hoping for hakkar. Wish the elves could make their gods show up for a change.
