Everything you listed plus whatever everyone else lists.
I’m big into RTS & basic strategy games.
Sid Meier’s Civilization (I, II, III, IV, V, VI - and looking forward to VII)
Leisure Suit Larry (original and assorted expansions).
Command and Conquer (original and assorted expansions)
Rome: Total War (and expansions)
Age of Empires (and expansions)
Railroad Tycoon (original and follow ups)
Sim City (original and follow ups)
Stelaris (looking into due to strong encouragement)
Warcraft series (Duh)
Deablo (I, II, III)
Many simulator games
Too many Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Sega, Atarii 2600, and MSDos based games to name.
thats alot of FF XD
i’ve never played any ffs. the store didnt sell or rent out those
World of warcraft
It’s just a series I fell in love with early on, though nowadays not as much. I forgot to add one though which is World of Final Fantasy. Even though it was not as edgy so to speak as others, the story I liked far more than XV.
There’s no way I can go thru 27 years of memories for all the games. So I’ll just list my favs
Ratchet and Clank 1 - 3 ( the ps3 onwards games are okay I guess. I just prefer the trilogy )
Jak and Daxter series
Sly Cooper series ( we don’t talk about the 4th game )
A metric crap ton of pokemon to the point where I have a pikachu themed tattoo on my leg. ( Just finished the Crown Tundra dlc actually )
Resident Evil 4 and 5. I know I know 5 wasn’t as good as the others but goddangit I love it
Dragon Age series
I almost don’t want to list Mass Effect 2 but oh well. The 3rd game killed any love I had for the series
There’s also series I haven’t played but I still love. Like Devil May Cry, No More Heroes. Bloodborne. It’s really hard for me to actually try new games because I always stress too much “Will this be disappointing?” and I hate that feeling of being let down.
There’s more but I figured I’d mention the top favs.
Try Digimon games. Cyber Sleuth/Hacker’s memory combo recently.
Kinda f up stuff goes there.
Is not like they are M games or anything, but the plot is definitely more intriguing/elaborate and more interesting for higher ages than the pokemon games.
Combat system is also pretty cool.
This is one of those threads where I need to remind myself I’m still on the clock before I start trying to come up with a legitimate response for the topic.
Oh wait wait wait I forgot some for series I haven’t played personally but still love
Silent Hill. It’s just difficult trying to find working copies that aren’t all dinged to crap and unplayable. And I refuse to buy that remastered bundle. The only SH game I played was Homecoming. It was alright. But I still just love watching the series on youtube.
hundreds, maybe thousands
Super Mario Bros 1-3
Ocarina of Time (still my all time fav Zelda game)
Final Fantasy 3-15 (even the mmos)
Final Fantasy Tactics (best game ever!)
Lunar: Silver Star Story
Legend of Dragoon
Pokemon Gold (Cause Pikachu)
Elder Scrolls Oblivion and Skyrim
A few Dragon Age games
Legend of Legia (sp?)
That’s all that comes to mind immediately, but there have been many, many more.
Super Mario World
Deadspace 1 2 3
LoZ Botw Twilight Princess Link to the past
Assassins Creed Origins
World of Warcraft
Ni No Kuni Wrath of the white witch
BioShock 1 2 and inifinite
Empire Total War
Command and Conquer red alert
Fallout 1 2 3 4 new new vegas
Omg how did I forget to mention Final Fantasy 7? AND the remake? I love those games so much
And the first Bioshock
I go all the way back to demon attack on the atari 2600
This list would be too long
World of Warcraft
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Fortnite (my brother made me do it)
Probably a ton of others but those are some of them. I also have a ton of games on my phone like candy crush and wordbubbles.
Now I can’t stop remembering other games
Sonic Adventure 1 and 2. FUN. I had a bit too much fun singing along to the music in Sonic Generations. That soundtrack is chefs kiss
It’s a pretty short list actually. Probably forgetting some, but it’s something like:
- Descent I
- Descent II
- Otto Matic
- Deimos Rising
- World of Warcraft (duh)
- Warcraft III
- Half-Life 1
- Resident Evil 4
- Fable 3
- The Last of Us
Didn’t pick up games seriously until mid-late teens, and since then WoW is where most of my game time has been tied up. Have a bunch of other games piled up waiting both physically and in Steam, but never get around to playing them because of the inertia required to pick new games up… I usually end up goofing around in WoW or doing something else instead. Kinda miss being in my teens and early 20s because back then starting new games was a cinch.
Over the spring and summer I decided to play and beat Pokemon Gold and Soulsilver to relive the fun, Great games much fun. Lance in the Elite 4 is a very tough dude with his Dragonites
