Songs About Jane was a really good album, and if they had just continued in that vein they would’ve been fantastic

unfortunately they didn’t

lotta country haters in here. I kinda understand, because the vast majority of modern country is literally the same exact song, but I’d urge y’all to listen to some Sturgill Simpson or Jason Isbell or Neko Case if you want a taste of what country in the modern sense could be.

Very few musicians do I have more than a song or two by them on my playlist of 1,000 something bookmarked songs, the most is probably Rush with a whopping 20 something songs out of 900…
